Great place to wander round for a while. I loved the corridor of the meditating buddha's. Very serene and peaceful. Grateful there were very few tourists when we went. I can imagine the echos are quite loud in this place.
The wonderful emerald Buddha belongs to this temple had been stolen by Thai people during the war, therefore the temple lost its major attraction. Besides that, I found people leaving money (coins and bank notes) on Buddha’s hands or body quite improper.

One of the best museum in Vientiane. If you are lovers of artifacts, craving and architecture you should visit this place. The place has turn to become a museum, previously it was a Temple to house the Emerald Buddha (Phra Kaew).
