I loved this place. Firstly, it was fun getting there on the local bus, a bargain at only 6000 kip ( one hour). The park itself is not huge but it is full of weird and whacky looking statues. A truly unique experience and great...More

Interesting concept of taking many Buddha stories and turning them into a static attraction? Think Bible stories wth statues.....Moses parting the Red Sea, Noak leading animals into the ark, etc. It is a long drive out and unless you are REALLY into Buddha, not worth...More

This was very cool to see. However, if you miss it, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Just a lot of neat statues.

There's not that many attractions to see around Vientiane and Buddha park is somewhat of a let down. For sure ok to go there to pass an hour or so but nothing special.

It is a park full of concrete Buddha's and other religious statues (predominantly Hindu). Most are in a state of disrepair and there are no markings to tell you who is who. However I had a guide who gave us lots of useful information. It's...More

It's not like Angkor Wat or other famous ancient temples bit it's worth the long tuk tuk ride. Better to go at sunset. My review is very positive because I went there with my wife to be and we enjoyed the solitude of the place...More

Well, the park is quite far from the city, we drove around 30mins to get here. The park was a collection of various Buddha sculpture. I thought it would be more interesting if there were explanations.

Quite far away from the city but we had a moped so easy to access. Interesting statues and met a monk there who wanted to practise his English.

Some statutes which look badly in need of a clean up and an equally unimpressive toilet. Not quite worth the 40 minute drive to get there. Built by a quirky renegade monk in the 50s the theme is almost random with both Buddhist and Hindu...More
