Part of the must see in Vientiane. 10k kip entry. Can spend half an hour here. Temple not as glitzy as others in SE Asia but I respect that as it is ancient (oldest) and just functional. Interesting contrast of architecture with other temples. Toilets...More

This is a popular Buddhist temple here with tourists and locals. A good temple to visit lots of Buddha statues here.

(Wat Si Sakat). I went to this place where it changed from temple to museum. inside had many old Buddha status around. when went to inside I feel like I'm in the ancient time. at the time of Buddhism flourished.

We visited this site while in Vientiane and took many pictures of the Buddhas. It is beautiful and luckily for us it was not too crowded the day we visited. Must see...

Interesting place to visit. Many Buddha statues around the square. The main building at the middle seems to be a museum. Not allowed to take pic inside the main building.

Full of history, nice with peace soul. Take at least 30 min to appreciate this temple, one of numerous certainly but one of the nicest

It's smallish, but interestngl and the first time I had seen such ornate family stupas with ashes of the deceased inside.
