By far, Vientiane's most recognizable feature. Patuxai is a splendid monument dedicated to those who struggled for independence from the French. It is strongly reminiscent of the Arc de Triomphe, yet is decorated in a typically Laotian style. Great views from the top and for...More
A must see in Vientiane as there are very few attractions in the city. A short visit is all you will need. Has a nice view from the top after you pay a small entry. Take a souvenir photo at the bottom.
Climb the stairs to the top, take pics, see the city. Center of town and close to the Sunday morning market.
Patuxai or Monument Park located in the central Vientiane. You can enjoy the view of Vientiane Capital when you climb up to the top of the building
