You may long walking next to the river. Off course in January it was so cold but also this is a chance to see the different face of the river.

This is very nice place to rest, you can walk long time by the river, in winter you can see people who swim in could water - interesting. Also many winter sports you can do on ice. And of course fishermans trying to catch fishes under ice.

On a sunny dry day this is a most tranquil walk completely on the flat with plenty to look at and see as well as take amazing photographs. At night it is spectacular with the lights and fireworks display.

Along the river Ishim you can walk or run if you want to. It was nice to watch the city`s buildings and silhouette. We also took the riverboat tour. To see the buildings from the boat was fantastic and the duration was just perfect.

If you are looking at getting a different perspective of the City of Astana, a walk along the Ishim Embankment is a great way to get this. It stretches along the whole breath of the City and gives you a unique perspective to a skyline that you would probably only see from the main roads via a car or a bus. Long this path, you would come across local flowers which are breathtaking on their own.

However due to inadequate regular maintenance, you will find some parts of the embankment giving way to the river and in such instances an alternative route needs to be sought. By and large a great place to walk and jog.

We walked down the end of Bokeykhan Street to the river. On the way, you can snap your photo with the Fab Four, bronze Beatles statues ar curbside. There is a throne from Game of Thrones you can sit on, and other displays. Next to the river you’ll find the equestrian statue of Kenesary - the leader of a 19th century rebellion against the Tsarist rule - who truly looks heroic. The river itself is clean and wide. The older buildings on your side are nicely renovated and painted interesting colors. It’s all very pleasant. We went in the afternoon butwere told that young people like to hang down here in the d evenings for dome good clean fun.

Totally recommend to take a walk on the river side when sunsets. There´s a bridge that takes you to a tivoli. Great for children!

I visit this river bank often, as I like long walks in the evening. Fresh air both in summer and in Winter. In winter you can also walk on the frozen waters. It's an amazing experience. You can also snowshoe, skii or enjoy snow rides.

Very lively and colourful led show can be seen on the embarkment of the rived Isim in the evenings. You can walk allround, and rent a boat, so you can admire the light show from the water, too.

My first time vising a beach built along a river! It's very interesting. There's the central park right next to it too.
