Really enjoyed the morning class with the visit to the market.
The market itself was a fantastic experience. We returned a couple of days later to spend more time there on our own.
Cooking was well explained and easy to follow. Better practise your chopping skills though! The lemongrass needs to be chopped really fine!
All our dishes came together just as we were getting hungry and it was good to share the meal with fellow travellers and exchange stories.
Since the class we receioved the recipes by email so now I really have no excuse not to prepare anamazing fish amok for my partner!

We booked the morning course with a trip to the local market, which was a real education! The kitchen facilities were excellent, clean and cool. The recipes were delicious - made in the traditional way and eaten at the end. The tutor was friendly, and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed this experience and would recommend it to others.

Had the best time at La table Khmere, highly recommend the morning class which includes a trip to the market. We had a great teacher and our meals where delicious, the kitchen is clean and well kept, and the food is fresh and delicious. This is worth doing if you’re in Phnom Penh even just for a day or two!

Nice location with all the equipment. The teacher is very good, as she has the right mix of being funny and demanding. You can see she knows what she's doing. Her English must improve a bit, but she will learn as she's a smart person. We went to the market, we cooked our food and we ate it, very cool!

So my brother booked me on this cooking course while I am here to see him. The teacher was lovely. We went to the market where we were explained about ingredients we were going to use. I made Amok chicken, mango salad and desert mango sticky rice. We got to enjoy it at the end and it was amazing.

A unique moment in Phnom penh, prepare your own amok fish, and taste it with new friends from around the world.
The spices and aromas that we rediscover from the point of view of the cook.
Without forgetting the visit to the local market, in order to select the right ingredients.
Really a unique moment to share.

I absolutely loved the cooking course at La Table Khmer. Our instructor Kina was very welcoming and outgoing and set a really fun and positive tone for the course. She gave a really informative market tour and walked us through the recipes in great detail. Also met some really interesting travellers in the course and we met up for dinner that night. Highly recommended!

The class is currently located in Miam Eatery & Drinks. The kitchen is beautiful and very professional, with all the utensils you could possibly need. Kina (the teacher) is super bubbly and friendly. She’s also very skilled in the kitchen and always willing to offer help and advice on technique.
We started off going to the local market to pick our ingredients. I’m a vegetarian with a peanut allergy, and Kina had no problem being flexible with her recipe. We substituted tofu for chicken in the amok (and used soya and palm sugar to simulate the flavours of fish sauce, shrimp paste, and ground peanuts). She adapted to my dietary restrictions like a pro, and my food turned out delicious!
We made green mango salad, tofu amok (for me!), and mango sticky rice.
10/10 would recommend

Our family of four, including a 10 year old girl and a 17 year old boy, did this cooking course today. The initial visit to the market was fun, we got to learn the Cambodian names for some of the ingredients, touch, smell and learn about things I’d never seen or heard of before. The cooking class was very well prepared and instructions easy to follow, even making our own banana leaf bowl! Then afterwards we got to sit down in the restaurant and eat everything we had made. Everyone really enjoyed themselves.

Had an amazing time with Sokran. You get to make such genuine food, and the facilities are next to none. Nicole the owner came and spoke to us, and she is lovely too. I do hope that more people come to this, as it is a great afternoon of fun!

Bonjour,

Bon voyage !

Unfortunately I went there yesterday trying to get a spot for later day but I was told that tge restaurant / cooking lessons area had closed. On the first floor there are couple of businesses and on the top there is now a massage place
