Great but somber tour. Really recommend going. It's weird to say "I had such a good time" viewing things which are very depressive but it really is eye opening to see what we keep doing in history, and this one not too long ago. People should be speaking about this a lot more and paying attention to the warning signs as it happens again and again in history.

This tour was great, highly recommend it especially with TripAdvisor. You're picked up and dropped off and the vehicle is air-conditioned (which is needed.. lol). The guide was a pleasure and very knowledgeable not only about the sites but the economy and areas we drove by with lots of construction. This tour is an excellent level of background to Cambodia terrible and tragic past. For families with fairly young children (maybe under 10 or 12) the Museum can be a lot to take-in and gruesome. It can be an eye-opener about the tragic history and a humbling expeience. I'm really glad I took the time to learn about it. Great tour for Families, couples, friends, solo (I was solo).

The guide for the Killing Fields and S-21 provided an excellent level of background and context to Cambodia's brutal past. It's a necessary thing to do but with a harrowing amount of detail; it leaves you with an understanding of what happened, ghastly as it was.

Visiting the S21 detention center was quite moving especially the cells were prisoners were kept and the photos of them. We bought a book, translated into English, written by a survivor. All in all, a moving experience. I suggest visiting on your own and spend a few hours there.

Fast, friendly, cheap and a great way to tour the city. A holiday hi point for anyone who has never been in a Tuk Tuk.
