A very local market full of residents buying their daily food. Not really a tourist attraction IMO. Very easy to get lost in, so be warned.

Went at 5.30pm, when it wasn't too hot and less crowded. It certainly has a strong local identity, wide varieties of business from fresh produce, food stalls, shoes, to hair salons and manicure/pedicure shops! It is almost like a labyrinth, quite fun to explore until...More

Excellent to wander around looking at all the various food and vegetable stalls. Best ribs ever at the back and lots to see. We did it with a. Guide which helped as would not have been brave enough to try somethings ourselves !

Really fun walk through the market. Never knew exactly where we were and every corner had something interesting. Has more local feel than the central market or Russian market.

This place had it all, beautiful khmers and chams, products, lightings, friendly people. If you are an avid photographer this is the essence of Kandal the province where Phnom Penh sits.

This market is frequented by the locals. You rarely find any foreigners here. It's very hot and smells, especially after rain. However, the items sold here are very organic and you can see all walks of life of the Khmers frequenting this local market. It's...More
