About
Daughters of Cambodia is a social enterprise empowering victims of trafficking to leave the sex industry through alternative employment. At the Daughters Visitor Centre, visitors can gain insight into the endemic of trafficking that is ravaging Cambodia while learning more about what Daughters is doing to stop it. Moreover, visitors can actually participate in our work by frequenting one of the three social enterprise businesses housed at the Visitor Centre — our fair-trade shop, cafe or women's spa — all of which provide former victims of trafficking with the vital income and skills to build thriving lives for themselves outside the horrors of the sex industry. To see the cafe's menu or a list of the spa's services, find the Daughters of Cambodia Visitor Centre on Facebook. If you have a large party, please call ahead of time to allow us to better accommodate you.

I went here and visited both the shop (where some lovely items have been made and are for sale), the cafe and the spa. The cafe serves delicious food and drinks- highly recommend the chocolate brownie! I also had a few spa treatments. Don't expect a fancy room- it's a lovely room where they have lots of chairs and cushions around to give simple massages. The prices are not expensive, and when everything is for such a good cause it is well worth a visit!

A visit to Daughters of Cambodia is a must. The shop sells a great range of quality gifts including earrings, purses, cushions, tshirts and more. Upstairs the air conditioned cafe has a fantastic menu for brunch, lunch or a snack. The cakes and sweet treats are like nothing else you will find in Cambodia! They have a kids menu and a long list of heavenly shake flavors. Staff are friendly and helpful. Money is well spent here, going towards a very worthy cause. Highly recommend.

A visit here was big on my list to come to Cambodia. I spent about $100USD on gifts for everyone back home and myself. A worthy cause to donate to also, Daughters of Cambodia and Sons of Cambodia. Please like and follow their Facebook page

I was excited to go there. It was one of my top place I must visit on my trip to Cambodia but when I got there. I did not get a warm welcome no hello hi how are you maybe cuz I was Cambodian-American as I was browsing through the merchandise I felt awkward cuz they was chatting among themselves so I decided to go upstairs for a latte. Then bloom as I went to pay a lot of them was upstairs with smiles on their faces . And then they chitchat with me for a bit with my broken Khmer hehe but I will come again cuz I support this!

Came here as recommended by our Tour leader. The place was fantastic. The staff were lovely and the food was great! There is also a range of lovely gifts perfect as a souvenir from your trip. Great to know that the money is going to help those in need.

While I respect the cause and what these women are trying to achieve with their lives, the most exciting thing thing about visiting this centre is the tuk tuk ride there and away. Only visit this place if you want to support their efforts otherwise time is much better spent visiting Tuol Sleng or the Killing Fields where one can gain insight into Cambodia's tragic recent history. I cannot believe this is rated number 1 thing to do in Phnom Penh.

Hi Marcus R., I'm so sorry you did not enjoy your recent trip to Daughters' Visitor Centre. However, I would agree with you that Daughters is not a place for those preoccupied with the death tourism offered by places like S21 or the Killing Fields. Daughters a place for people to learn about the endemic of trafficking that is ravaging the country right here and now (in large part due to the disintegration of family systems seen during the Pol Pot era.) But more importantly, instead of solely focusing on Cambodia's morbid past and present, Daughters offers visitors a glimpse of hope into what is being done to solve these problems, even giving visitors a chance to participate in the solution by frequenting one of the three fair-trade businesses housed in our Visitor Centre that benefit former sex workers. Many of our customers have praised the fact that their visit with us helped snap them out of the depressed mood they found themselves in after visiting genocidal sites by offering them hope for Cambodia's future. There is so much more to Cambodia than the Khmer Rouge. I would stress that, in order to really get the most out of a trip to Daughters, visitors should watch our video (located in our media room halfway up the stairs between the shop and cafe) and read some of the informational exhibits on display throughout the building. I do hope you enjoyed the rest of your travels in Cambodia. Thank you for your feedback. Sincerely, Amanda King Donor Relations & Marketing

Went looking for this and it’s not in the same location. It would be great to find on our next trip. I hope it’s still operating, it’s a very valid cause.

I dropped in for a coffee and something to eat but decided to have a manicure and pedicure as well because it started raining. Everything is clean and the ladies are so polite and lovely. Great cause and escape from crazy streets of Phnom Penh for a moment.

Just enjoyed lunch here! Beautifully fresh ingredients, just delicious! Try the mint lime drink, so refreshing! The products for sale in the shop are very well made and different to most things you see in the markets. So glad I could support this fabulous socially and ethically responsible business.
