We are a family of 3 and we joined the sunset cruise today. We board the boat early at 4:30pm (in fact we were the first on board) and the sun was hot, so we were told we could go to the back of the boat where it is shaded. Upon sitting down for 10 minutes, we were told by the same staff we had to move after the boat moved because a group of 12 is coming and the section is private. I said ok.
So at 5:05pm when the boat moved, I signaled a different staff to come over because we wanted to order drinks. She came over, I said Hi and before I could continue, she told us to move now, with frustrated face and tone. I asked if we could move later, she said NOW, Still with that frustrated face and tone. I asked her why she is so angry and scolding me, since I am also a paying customer. Needless to say, we did not get the chance to order any drinks and of course, we moved to the front of the boat.
Well it doesn’t matter where we sit, but surely a little patience, reminder and manners would be nice instead of saying NOW.
All in all, the cruise was fine but the staff could have been better trained.
