I am late on giving them a review. We returned from our 14 days Vietnam and Cambodia tour from 16—29 Sep 2019. We wish to thank Mr Ann from Private tour department for arranging our tour, he is very responsive and patient. He was on call 24 hours and even told me that we can contact him immediately during our tour if we face any problem. I truly appreciate his kind understanding and willingness to help and assist us throughout our tour.
The tour was wonderful, I went with a young child & my elderly father. We were very well taken care of throughout the whole trip in Vietnam and Cambodia. Also we wish to specially thanks to our dear tour guides Mr. Son for Hanoi and halong bay, Mr. Hung for Hoian and hue, Mr. Thanh for Ho chi minh city and Siem reap Mr. Rith, they were very patient and dedicated, and went the extra mile in taking care of my father & daughter. all guides were very experienced and told us so much about her country’s history, culture and it’s people. It was a very good experience for all of us.
Thank you so much for all the pre-arrangement Mr. Ann and special thanks to our all local tour guide, for taking care of us.

Wow, words alone cannot describe the wonderful, haunting, exotic and educational tour that four of us just completed from Jan. 12 to Jan. 28th, all organized and arranged by Mr. Ann of Global Tours. Admittedly we did have some trepidations about signing up with a tour company located so far away from Canada, but all of our doubts were wiped away upon greeting our first guide in Hanoi. Every detail during our entire trip was taken care of by expert, knowledgeable English speaking guides who did his/her best to avoid the largest crowds and give us the best experiences possible. We had opted for deluxe to luxury boutique type hotels and each and every hotel on this trip was exceptional. We stayed at the Sofitel Legend Metropole in Hanoi, the Prince Junk at Halong Bay, the Anatara in Hoi An, La Residence in Hue, InterContinental Asiana in Ho Chi Minh, Jaya House Riverpark in Siem Reap and the Ariysom Villa (note that it is vegetarian) in Bangkok. Our best experience was at the Jaya House Riverpark in Siem Reap because of their exceptional customer service and the absolutely perfect rooms just steps away from the interior swimming pool.
Just when we thought we had experienced everything for the day, yet another adventure awaited us. We were treated to a dinner at a cultural Apsara dance performance plus a unique Cambodian Circus in Siem Reap that were very very enjoyable. There are simply too many wonderful experiences to describe them all.
However, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday don't bother with visiting the big cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Mink or Bangkok unless you really want to see the historical sights. We have never encountered traffic and motor scooters like we experienced in those cities. Crossing a street is literally taking your life in your hands.
One of the best parts of the trip was learning not only the history of Vietnam and Cambodia from our guides but their philosophy on Buddhism.
All in all, a great time was had by all.

We booked the 3 day Phnom Penh & Siem Reap tour through Viator, and Global Travel & Tours Asia arranged the trip for us. This was a great way to see some of the highlights in Cambodia in just a few days. We really enjoyed Phnom Penh, and our guide Owen (I'm not sure how to spell his name) was absolutely lovely. He spoke English well, was passionate about his work and we learned quite a bit about the country through just talking with him. Seeing the temples in Siem Reap was remarkable, and our guide Rith was so great. He spoke English well and brought so many great stories and personality to the entire experience. Both hotels that were booked for us were great. We would HIGHLY recommend this experience, and we would love to return to Cambodia and use this company again.

We were very lucky to have our wonderful guide Mr. Channak Sok to introduce us to the history and culture of Phnom Penh. On this private 1 day tour Mr. Sok and his driver took us by air conditioned SUV to the major sites around the city including the S21 prison, Cheong Ek Genocide Memorial, National Museum, and Wat Phnom Daun Penh. (The Royal Palace was closed that day but we were offered a river cruise instead. ) Mr. Sok’s knowledge of Cambodia is extensive and his commitment to sharing the heartbreaks of its history and aspirations for its future was moving. Although it was difficult to visit the prison and killing fields, the respect and reverence shown by Mr. Sok impressed upon us the importance for visitors to learn about the atrocities and honor the victims. The gravity of that part of the tour was counterbalanced by a terrific lunch at a friendly local restaurant that never would have found ourselves. Afterwards we enjoyed a driving tour of the major sites in the city including the riverfront, independence monument, a visit to the National Museum and Wat Phnom Daun Penh. All along the way Mr. Sok and the driver took care of every detail (pickup at our hotel, admission tickets, refreshments, etc) so that we could focus on the experience instead of worrying about the logistics of getting around a new city. If you value a meaningful personalized experience during your visit to Phnom Penh we highly recommend this tour.

Our private tour was wonderful from the start to the very end!
Pick ups to and from airport/hotels were so convenient!
Our tour guides Channak (Phnom Penh) and Rith (Siem Reap) were very helpful, knowledgeable and really made our holiday memorable!
Shout out as well to the drivers for our safe travels!
The hotel stays were fantastic as well. iRoHa Hotel owner Susumu even welcomed us during midnight and kept on following up regarding our stay. Shinta Mani Angkor gave us a room to stay while we are waiting for our flights. Food served were plentiful and delicious! It was great customer services for both hotels!
The tour itself was fabulous. We were able to visit everything we must in 3 days with enough time to relax in between!
The above were all because of Hoeun - who was on top of everything. He communicated with us all through out. Thank you and definitely worth it!

My Family and I are finishing up 16 day tour of Vietnam and Angkor wat. I asked Mr Ann to create a ” highlights tour” of Vietnam & Cambodia for us. He was very quick and accommodating. Everything has turned out to be excellent. We have had wonderful local guides in each area who have stayed with us for several days. Their knowledge of the history and culture have been excellent. All the hotels were in great locations and we would stay at them all again.

The company
We booked this tour with Global Travel & Tours Asia for our honeymoon in Cambodia. While this was supposed to take place in November 2019, due to my mother in law's death a few days before the tour start, we could not go ahead as planned.
However, upon contacting the managing director, Ann Houen, we were assured that he will do his best to help us at least reschedule the tour for another date. He eventually managed to reschedule this tour for 18 January 2020 with a start in Siem Reap and finish in Phnom Penh. Although it was peak season and the prices were normally considerably higher, Mr Houen took our situation into consideration and managed to negotiate with his suppliers to keep the prices as they were in November 2019. In the end we paid only an additional USD 166 in accommodation costs.
One other thing that made us feel this company is working with us and for us was that they were very attentive and flexible with our situation. At the end of the tour we told the company we will not be flying back to the UK but have booked a hotel in Sihanoukville and we are planning to spend another 7 nights there. The manager quickly agreed to find us a driver to take us there, instead of transferring us to the Phnom Penh Airport as specified in the tour schedule.
Then, after we got to the hotel in Sihanoukville, a hotel we booked by ourselves on Agoda, we realised we were a bit swindled by the owners of that hotel so we contacted Global Travel & Tours Asia and again Mr Houen, although he had duly fulfilled his contractual obligation, agreed to find us a better hotel so we can finish our honeymoon in good conditions. He sent us directly to the best one and did not charge us for this service. Also, he agreed to find us a driver to take us back from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh Airport at the end of our journey.
We are very happy with the services provided by Global Travel & Tours Asia and plan to use them for our future holidays in Asia.
The tour
During our 8 days tour we didn’t feel we have a guide with us, but rather a very close friend. Although we had 3 different guides, they were all very professional and able to answer all our questions. They showed us things that all tourists see but also places which get overlooked by most people. Also, whenever we were looking to buy things, they were very helpful in letting us know if the prices there are negotiable and what would be the right prices for the items we were looking to buy. They told us many things about their country and culture outside the stories regarding the places we were visiting. Whenever we stopped to eat somewhere, they made sure the place has good standards and the food is cooked for tourists rather than in a way that is very traditional but might not necessarily liked by people that are not accustomed to Asian tastes.
We travelled between places in very good conditions, in luxurious 4x4 Lexus cars driven by very good and prudent drivers and the accommodations booked for us by the company were amazingly good. Also, another nice touch was that the guide was discreetly paying attention to what we were saying and making sure it is taken into account. For example, we got to Siem Reap on my birthday. The guide discretely tipped off the hotel staff about it, and in the evening when we got back, they were waiting for me with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to me. Then in another hotel, after we told the guide during a casual chat that it’s actually our honeymoon, he again discretely told the staff about it and when we got back to our room we found a lot of flowers and balloons in it, accompanied by a lovely treat of local fruits.
Overall this was a true 5 star experience!

Global Travel and Tours is one of the best travel companies I’ve come across. In fact, their performance is superior the other travel agents I’ve used. Mr. Ann, owner, Is someone who can be trusted and does exactly what he said he’s going to do. Excellent customer service skills.
In a crunch, I needed assistance in setting up a tour for some close friends visiting Cambodia. Thank God I met Mr. Ann. Over a cup of coffee, he designed an excellent five day tour which included both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap. Everything went as exactly planned and we were all very happy. Mr. Ann has an extensive network of professionals in Cambodia and across Asia.
I highly recommend Global Travel and Tours without any reservations whatsoever. You can’t go wrong with this company. In fact, you will be very pleased.
