Mr. Ann, Director of Operations at Global Travel and Tours Asia, worked with me over several months prior to this trip to make sure that we would see and do the most amazing things! He was so helpful and responsive on the front end, crafting an itinerary that was absolutely perfect. I was traveling with my college-aged daughter as she finished up an internship, and we crossed Cambodia from the southeast to the northwest and then on to Hanoi, Vietnam.
Everything was perfect. We had outstanding guides and drivers throughout our tour. Due to the distance we traveled, we had a total of three guides and four drivers. Each was knowledgeable, helpful, enthusiastic, and wanted to make our vacation perfect. I cannot say enough about how the people at Global Travel and Tours Asia made this trip easy and fun. We couldn't have seen the things we saw without them!
Our first guide and driver picked us up in Sen Monorom after a stay in the jungle at Elephant Valley Project. From there, we saw the Irrawaddy river dolphins in Kratie, stayed on the island of Koh Tong, and made our way over to Battambang. In Battambang, we had temples all to ourselves and enjoyed the nightly migration of thousands of bats leaving the famous bat cave. Along the way, we saw the floating villages, met many lovely Cambodians, and enjoyed the countryside of rural Cambodia. AND the food--oh my goodness the food was amazing! Every single meal! Mr. Ann also coordinated the bets accommodations and we truly enjoyed the ambiance and service of each place we stayed.
The Cambodian portion of our tour ended in Siem Reap, our home base for visiting the temples of Angkor Wat and other fun local site seeing activities. We also had Cambodian friends join us for this portion of the trip, which Mr. Ann coordinated seamlessly--helping arrange their accommodations as well and hiring a larger bus so we could all see the temples together! From there, we flew to Hanoi, where we toured the city, enjoyed stying in the old quarter and took some overnight and day trips. The scenery in Vietnam was gorgeous--like nothing we had ever seen before. We went to Sapa, Ninh Binh, and Ha Long Bay.
If you are considering a trip to Asia, either long or short, large group or small, this is the travel guide you should use! For coordinating day trips or a customized, seasonal itinerary like ours, you are in excellent hands if you choose Mr. Ann and his team.

I highly recommend working with this tour company for all your needs in exploring Cambodia. From the moment we landed at the airport until the last day when we were dropped off at the airport, the service has been so professional and polite.
Even before I arrived in this beautiful country, Mr Anh was very swift and responsive with all my inquiries and worked within my budget. The lunches that the agency arranged for us were very good places with amazing food and customer service. The tour guides with their drivers that met us at both cities were educational and spoke English that we could easily understand.
Everything went very smooth as planned. Thank you very much! My family had the most amazing time in Cambodia. Orkun!!!!!

I am late on giving them a review. We returned from our 14 days Vietnam and Cambodia tour from 16—29 Sep 2019. We wish to thank Mr Ann from Private tour department for arranging our tour, he is very responsive and patient. He was on call 24 hours and even told me that we can contact him immediately during our tour if we face any problem. I truly appreciate his kind understanding and willingness to help and assist us throughout our tour.
The tour was wonderful, I went with a young child & my elderly father. We were very well taken care of throughout the whole trip in Vietnam and Cambodia. Also we wish to specially thanks to our dear tour guides Mr. Son for Hanoi and halong bay, Mr. Hung for Hoian and hue, Mr. Thanh for Ho chi minh city and Siem reap Mr. Rith, they were very patient and dedicated, and went the extra mile in taking care of my father & daughter. all guides were very experienced and told us so much about her country’s history, culture and it’s people. It was a very good experience for all of us.

Angkor Wat is the most Amazing historical site. No wonder it has been named the one of the 7 Wonders of the World. We hired a private tour guide and he's the best. He speaks fluent English and very knowledgeable of the history. He's well educated, and he has worked as a teacher and also a very good photographer and he has helped us take a lot of photos. I highly recommend Mr. Sithon 092957339. His Facebook name is Angkor Mysterious Wonderland.

The company
We booked this tour with Global Travel & Tours Asia for our honeymoon in Cambodia. While this was supposed to take place in November 2019, due to my mother in law's death a few days before the tour start, we could not go ahead as planned.
However, upon contacting the managing director, Ann Houen, we were assured that he will do his best to help us at least reschedule the tour for another date. He eventually managed to reschedule this tour for 18 January 2020 with a start in Siem Reap and finish in Phnom Penh. Although it was peak season and the prices were normally considerably higher, Mr Houen took our situation into consideration and managed to negotiate with his suppliers to keep the prices as they were in November 2019. In the end we paid only an additional USD 166 in accommodation costs.
One other thing that made us feel this company is working with us and for us was that they were very attentive and flexible with our situation. At the end of the tour we told the company we will not be flying back to the UK but have booked a hotel in Sihanoukville and we are planning to spend another 7 nights there. The manager quickly agreed to find us a driver to take us there, instead of transferring us to the Phnom Penh Airport as specified in the tour schedule.
Then, after we got to the hotel in Sihanoukville, a hotel we booked by ourselves on Agoda, we realised we were a bit swindled by the owners of that hotel so we contacted Global Travel & Tours Asia and again Mr Houen, although he had duly fulfilled his contractual obligation, agreed to find us a better hotel so we can finish our honeymoon in good conditions. He sent us directly to the best one and did not charge us for this service. Also, he agreed to find us a driver to take us back from Sihanoukville to Phnom Penh Airport at the end of our journey.
We are very happy with the services provided by Global Travel & Tours Asia and plan to use them for our future holidays in Asia.
The tour
During our 8 days tour we didn’t feel we have a guide with us, but rather a very close friend. Although we had 3 different guides, they were all very professional and able to answer all our questions. They showed us things that all tourists see but also places which get overlooked by most people. Also, whenever we were looking to buy things, they were very helpful in letting us know if the prices there are negotiable and what would be the right prices for the items we were looking to buy. They told us many things about their country and culture outside the stories regarding the places we were visiting. Whenever we stopped to eat somewhere, they made sure the place has good standards and the food is cooked for tourists rather than in a way that is very traditional but might not necessarily liked by people that are not accustomed to Asian tastes.
We travelled between places in very good conditions, in luxurious 4x4 Lexus cars driven by very good and prudent drivers and the accommodations booked for us by the company were amazingly good. Also, another nice touch was that the guide was discreetly paying attention to what we were saying and making sure it is taken into account. For example, we got to Siem Reap on my birthday. The guide discretely tipped off the hotel staff about it, and in the evening when we got back, they were waiting for me with a birthday cake and sang happy birthday to me. Then in another hotel, after we told the guide during a casual chat that it’s actually our honeymoon, he again discretely told the staff about it and when we got back to our room we found a lot of flowers and balloons in it, accompanied by a lovely treat of local fruits.
Overall this was a true 5 star experience!

Wow, words alone cannot describe the wonderful, haunting, exotic and educational tour that four of us just completed from Jan. 12 to Jan. 28th, all organized and arranged by Mr. Ann of Global Tours. Admittedly we did have some trepidations about signing up with a tour company located so far away from Canada, but all of our doubts were wiped away upon greeting our first guide in Hanoi. Every detail during our entire trip was taken care of by expert, knowledgeable English speaking guides who did his/her best to avoid the largest crowds and give us the best experiences possible. We had opted for deluxe to luxury boutique type hotels and each and every hotel on this trip was exceptional. We stayed at the Sofitel Legend Metropole in Hanoi, the Prince Junk at Halong Bay, the Anatara in Hoi An, La Residence in Hue, InterContinental Asiana in Ho Chi Minh, Jaya House Riverpark in Siem Reap and the Ariysom Villa (note that it is vegetarian) in Bangkok. Our best experience was at the Jaya House Riverpark in Siem Reap because of their exceptional customer service and the absolutely perfect rooms just steps away from the interior swimming pool.
Just when we thought we had experienced everything for the day, yet another adventure awaited us. We were treated to a dinner at a cultural Apsara dance performance plus a unique Cambodian Circus in Siem Reap that were very very enjoyable. There are simply too many wonderful experiences to describe them all.
However, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday don't bother with visiting the big cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Mink or Bangkok unless you really want to see the historical sights. We have never encountered traffic and motor scooters like we experienced in those cities. Crossing a street is literally taking your life in your hands.
One of the best parts of the trip was learning not only the history of Vietnam and Cambodia from our guides but their philosophy on Buddhism.
All in all, a great time was had by all.

This is our second tour with Mr. Ann after completing a month long tour of Cambodia in 2018. We travelled as a group of 7 from Melbourne, Brisbane and Northern NSW. The tour was arranged by us with assistance of Mr. Ann in the order we did the tour and where we wanted to see in Vietnam and Laos. Mr. Ann was great in the planning stage as we made numerous changes until we had the tour/holiday that we wanted. This was always a pleasure working with Mr. Ann as he promptly replied to queries and updated our tour as we went. The great organization started at the very beginning when we all arrived in Hanoi on different days and different times. Some had been to Vietnam and some not previously so 3 of the group arrived earlier and discovered Hanoi and Ha Long Bay prior to the rest of us arriving. Feedback from the 3 whom did Ha Long Bay was that it was a brilliant tour. Our accommodation in Hanoi was in the Old Quarter and a great spot for food, touring and relaxing. When we all arrived we then ventured to Laos for a 7 day tour that included Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng and Vientiane. The hotel stays at Maison Dalabua Hotel in Luang Prabang, Riverside Boutique in Vang Vieng and Salana Boutique Hotel at Vientiane were perfect for what our group liked. They were all reflective of the area we were in and such a treat to come back to at the end of each day. All were in fantastic locations to walk everywhere as well. Highlights of the Laos tour included morning Alms giving ceremony, Living Rice Farm tour, Kuang Si Falls, Royal Palace, Pak Ou Caves and temples in Luang Prabang, Kayaking trip on the Nam Song River in Vang Vieng and Stupa's, temples and Buddha Park in Vientiane.
After Laos we flew back to Vietnam and Ho Chi Minh City where we stayed at Mai House Saigon. Another fantastic hotel and great location that is within walking distance to all the main attraction's i.e. Ben Tanh Markets, Independence Palace, War Museum etc. Again Mr. Ann arranged fantastic tours in HCMC including Cu Chi Tunnels, a day on the Mekong Delta and the groups favourite of an after dark Vespa Tour to small restaurants and finishing at a local acoustics bar. Such a great evening and all 7 of us agreed this was the highlight tour of out trip away. After our stay in HCMC we finished our tour with a stay in Hoi An where the group travelled back to Australia after various length stays. Mr. Ann arranged all flights on our tour as well as the flights from Hoi An to Hanoi or HCMC for individuals for their connecting return trips home. All I can say is that after another perfectly run tour I couldn't recommend Mr. Ann and his company highly enough for any tours he arranges.
The organizing included all flights, all transfers at each location and tour guides at each stay as well. All guides were fantastic, spoke great English for us and provided authentic experiences especially on our road trip days where they would randomly stop at small villages, roadside stalls etc. to sample food, look at the way of life the locals lived and provide that extra touch that makes a trip unique. We also had a member leave their IPad in Hanoi and Mr. Ann arranged for it to be sent to Hoi An to our hotel for collection when we arrived. As we were travelling a fair bit this was the best spot to have it sent to and a grateful recipient was reunited with it on our arrival in Hoi An. Just another small example of how Mr. Ann operates and the care he takes with each group who tour with him. I have recommended family and friends to use him and they all have when touring Cambodia, Laos or Vietnam and not one of them has had anything but a positive experience and great holiday arranged by him. I know we will definitely use him again when we next tour that region.

Such a great evening and all 7 of us agreed this was the highlight tour of out trip away. After our stay in HCMC we finished our tour with a stay in Hoi An where the group travelled back to Australia after various length stays. Mr. Ann arranged all flights on our tour as well as the flights from Hoi An to Hanoi or HCMC for individuals for their connecting return trips home. All I can say is that after another perfectly run tour I couldn't recommend Mr. Ann and his company highly enough for any tours he arranges.
The organizing included all flights, all transfers at each location and tour guides at each stay as well. All guides were fantastic, spoke great English for us and provided authentic experiences especially on our road trip days where they would randomly stop at small villages, roadside stalls etc. to sample food, look at the way of life the locals lived and provide that extra touch that makes a trip unique. We also had a member leave their IPad in Hanoi and Mr. Ann arranged for it to be sent to Hoi An to our hotel for collection when we arrived. As we were travelling a fair bit this was the best spot to have it sent to and a grateful recipient was reunited with it on our arrival in Hoi An. Just another small example of how Mr. Ann operates and the care he takes with each group who tour with him. I have recommended family and friends to use him and they all have when touring Cambodia, Laos or Vietnam and not one of them has had anything but a positive experience and great holiday arranged by him. I know we will definitely use him again when we next tour that region.

I cannot recommend Global Travel Asia highly enough. I was traveling to Hanoi for the first time for a conference and wanted to spend some days after the conference visiting Cambodia and more of northern Vietnam. Based on reviews I had seen on TripAdvisor, I contacted Global Travel Asia. Mr. Hoeun Ann replied very quickly and he worked with me to put together an itinerary focused on the sites that I was keen to visit. Global Travel Asia booked everything--hotels, flights, guide and driver, etc. The price was very reasonable, especially given that I was a solo traveler, and everything appeared well planned.
But the actual 7 day tour exceeded all of my expectations. The guides were well informed, very friendly and attentive as were the drivers. The hotels were wonderful--very comfortable but also having local charm and not just some bland franchise. The cruise on Halong Bay on the Dragon Legend boat was amazing. The room on the ship was so beautiful I wanted to stay there a year and the food was wonderful. Getting to kayak, hike on one of the islands and explore the caves was so fulfilling.
I also appreciated the flexibility of the guides to modify the itinerary "on the go." For example, the conference I attended organized a visit to the water puppet theater in Hanoi (which was a nice surprise for the conference guests). The water puppet theater was also on my Global Travel Asia itinerary, but they substituted something else when I contacted Mr. Ann, who checked in regularly with me during the 7 day tour.
For any future trips to Asia, I definitely plan on using Global Travel Asia. I am so grateful for the wonderful and memorable experiences they made possible for me in both Cambodia and Vietnam. And in terms of value for money, if I could give 10 stars instead of 5, I would!

We travelled to Phnom Penh and Battambang Cambodia from 15 March to 19 Match. Kim was our guide. What an emotional journey was had as we learnt more about history and culture of the country and these two cities. Our guide Kim was very professional and added huge value by sharing insights that gave us a rich perspective of the country. Our overall experience was excellent.
