Stayed thee for 3 nights with a friend. Quiet place where you can get a good night's rest, but can also meet a diverse group of people. One of the best hostels I have stayed in out of 20+ in my time visiting SE Asia. ChamNib gave us a walking tour the first night and we became instant friends. He's a real down to earth guy that loves his job and loves helping visitors. The hostel was clean and had many options to go on tours, book rentals, etc. If I travel to to the capital of Cambodia again, I would definitely stay here again. I would recommend it to anyone.

Had such a great tour with Gev. His endless knowledge of the historical, cultural, religious of the city blew my mind. Refreshing smoothie provided after the tour, an absolute blessing after the walk. Thank you Gev for the interesting tour. Definitely a highlight in my trip. All the best to you.

Really loved all of the components of the tour on Silk Island. The silk cooperative where we learned about harvesting and preparing silk and then the weaving process, was a real highlight. We had a great English speaking guide who could explain every part of the process really well. I’ve seen it a few other times previously, actually, but this is the first time where every single stage was elaborated upon. In addition to that learning, just traveling through the small villages and agricultural area was delightful, as was the short ferry trip. It’s always a highlight to me to simply view regular life going on. We also stopped at a sheep and goat farm where palm sugar is made. We watched this process too and were lucky enough to get there toward the end where several steps in the process occurred. Having made candy on the stove myself, and therefore knowing how finicky it can be, it was really fun to see this being done on a much larger scale, though still only mom and pop. Our guide and tuk-tuk driver were very friendly, spoke English well, and had lots of information and stories to flesh out the experience. The lunch we had at a home was super delicious and a really, really pleasant environment. I really recommend this tour for folks who like to gain insight into the daily life of common folk. If that’s your thing, you will not be disappointed.

Finding a walking tour in Phnom Penh wasn't easy. This was the only one that seamt descent so we took a shoot at it. The guide gev was funny and seamt engaged in his job. He provided a good historical and contemporary insight to cambodian society which would have been hard for us to absorb ourselves during the short time we spent in the country. His recommendations were also excellent and we ended up using them exclusively during the rest of our stay in the city.
