Deshghuri was strongly recommended to me by a world traveller friend who visited Bangladesh last year. We did a five-day trip visiting Dhaka old city, Panam city and taking boat down to Barisal to explore local villages, Unesco sites in Bagerhat and see otter fishing tradition.
Sajjat is very responsive, helpful and always makes effort to customise the program to meet our needs. He himself guided me to the flower market and Karwan market early in the morning. Other guides are also informative and friendly. The guide in Barisal took us to the old market which is not in the program. We wouldn’t have chances to experience this impressive way of life if we were to do it ourselves.
Bangladesh is a very interesting country despite being chaotic where people driving crazy and using horn all the times. Everything here is real, no setup for tourists. Everywhere we have been to people are welcoming and smiling :)

I just finished ten glorious days of travel in Bangladesh. I couldn't find a lot of information online, so I opted to take a tour. I was traveling solo and Deshighuri had a reasonably priced tour that covered a lot of the places I wanted to visit. I was a little hesitant as I don't normally like tours (they can feel canned and not authentic) so I prefer to travel solo.
BUT I am so happy I chose to go with Deshighuri because it wasn't your run of the mill group tour. Everything was excellent and personal. I felt like I was traveling solo with my new Bangladeshi friend.
The tour guides were excellent and helped me have a lot of authentic experiences in the country that I wouldn't have had the opportunity to experience if I were solo. The restaurant choices were excellent local places and I got to try all the local foods but with the confidence to know that they were clean and hygienic spots that were tried and tested. I knew I was eating at the most delicious spots that each location had to offer!
I did the Dhaka city tour and 3 days in Srimangal with Badal- what a fantastic guide! He was informative and knowledgeable. Super experienced and best of all he was responsive to my interests.
Nyan was another excellent guide. He is young but was a lot of fun and also very knowledgeable.
Thank you everyone for an unforgettable time in Bangladesh! The warmth and friendliness of its people is the thing I will never forget!

Following my email inquiry, Deshghuri was very quick to respond with options for a customized 4-day tour. I chose to tour Dhaka, take a riverboat to Barisal, visit Bagerhat, spend an afternoon in Sundarban, tour the Banaripara backwaters and visit the Old Capitol of Sonargaon. Deshghuri took care of all my transport, food and lodging needs and really allowed me to maximize my limited time in Bangladesh. The tour guides each day were so helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend Deshghuri. I will return to Bangladesh and tour with them some day again! Bangladesh is an incredibly photogenic country the size of New York state with 150 million smiling, friendly and curious locals. Wow, I will remember this trip forever. Thanks Deshghuri!

My experience in Bangladesh was heartwarming. People are very kind and hospitable and I felt safe despite being a solo female traveler. The country has a rich culture and history and has great touristic potential. Desghuri team (admintration, guides, and drivers) have been very professional and played a great role in making my trip enjoyable. They also went out of their way to make sure that I experience on my tour all what I was looking for.

I was so lucky to book this fascinating tour with Deshghuri to Sonargaon and Panam City. My guide Najib was extremely knowledgeable and accommodating and made sure I got to experience the cultural/people side that I was hoping for. He even let us stop at a school, and took me to an island village by boat to see authentic village life. Everyone was just as curious about me as I was about them, and I met tons of friendly people who wanted to chat and take photos. This was an outstanding day - thank you, Najib!

I really enjoyed the time spent in Bangladesh. Even though we have limited time and tourist attractions are far from one anothers, we have managed to visit a lot of places ie. Sompur Mahavihara, otter fishing, Bagerhat, Sundarban.
The itinerary has been tailored perfectly to meet our requirements. Thanks to the company to make our trip happened.
Personally, Bangladesh has already become one of my favourite destinations. The kindness and sincerity of people has melted my heart. We were warmly treated by locals as important persons. No discrimination based on religious or ethnic experienced at all.
Here I have to thank to the company, our guide Rocky and driver Anish. You guys are awesome!
There are yet a lot more places and things to discover. Definitely I will have to return to Bangladesh and use their services again.

If you plan to visit Bangladesh, I would highly recommend Deshghuri tours. They took care of everything from transfers to tours and all internal travel in the country. The guides were friendly and helpful, and went the extra mile to ensure I had a good experience. Will definitely use them again.

We did the 4 day trip with the river cruise to Barishal! Everything was very well planned from our pick up to the airport all the way to our drop off at the airport. Our guides Robin and Ontu were both wonderful and made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed during the trip. We loved walking through the villages and the cities of Bangladesh seeing their culture, people, and food! The river cruise was a nice touch to the trip as well! Would definitely recommend doing a tour like this when you visit Bangladesh!!

We had great time with Deshghuri Tours. They provided us good hotel in cities and also local vibe in a homestay in Sundarban too, which was very memorizing experiences. Rocky was our guide and Anish was our driver who accompanied us to join this nice country of Bangladesh. We would loved to coming back.

For summer trips the best place where you can close your eyes and choose, I will definitely say it is Dhaka and Deshdghuri. The best guides can be called from Trip Advisors. The agents are very humble and knowledgeable in knowing needs of the customers. I started trip with the guide from the beautiful and remarkable old streets of Dhaka. Then the guide made all arrangements for accommodation in a luxurious hotel at low cost. He was the best guide I ever experienced in life such a knowledgeable and cool person he was. Then we went to a small local Bangladeshi restaurant which provided with delicious taste of Bangladeshi food. That was the best taste which I can never forget in my life. The Hotel was Toyata Sedan and best place to relax and I highly recommend it.Followed by the trip went to the Tea estate and the day ended with visiting the UNESCO Heritage Site to the 50 pillar mosque. The experience was divine and unforgettable.
