Most popular shopping complex in Dhaka city. This is the international quality shopping mall in Dhaka city. You can get everything you want from here. The shopping mall gets most crowded during the beginning of Eid.Product quality little bit expensive but the quality of the product is better. There are cineplex top floor of this complex.

Bashundhara City Shopping Mall was the largest shopping mall in South Asia and the 3rd largest in the world when it was inaugurated. These records may, or may not, hold today but it is still one of the largest shopping malls in the world! It is impeccably clean and has everything one would expect from such a large shopping mall, including a movie theatre, salons, boutiques, ATM machines of different banks, etc. There are lots of restaurants, showrooms and shops selling everything you can think of. Each floor in the mall is reserved for different category of items. So for instance all the eateries are on the top most floor, all mobile phone shops are on another two separate floors, all clothes shops are on different floors, etc. Each floor is called a "Level" inside the shopping mall. If you get lost, you can easily ask for help from the administrative staff and they'll use the overhead public announcement system to summon your stray/lost friends or relatives to you. LOL.

I had a great time shopping here with friends.

Don't get me started , I was there when this huge monstrosity of a mall opened and I am still not overwhelmed by it 8 years on . Its big and confusing , its unattractive and boring . But that being said it has its merits. Its air-conditioned , it has toilets that are semi clean and it has a million shops selling everything you can imagine . The food court has some interesting stalls serving traditional things as well as the western invasion snacks of doubtful quality. There are a lot of clothes shops , and a lot of electronics shops . The builders of this ugly mall were Korean and if I have the chance to suggest something I would recommend investors to look further before employing any architects or style ideas from that company again . The ventilation leaves a lot to be desired and its always semi dark inside . No natural light penetrates and electricity saving is in full swing always which makes it a bit depressing ,( nonetheless I welcome the move , as electricity is scarce in Dhaka ) I just wonder why they did not incorporate more natural light into the place

Everytime i go to Dhaka i spend some time here to shop for a new suit.Plenty of shops on second and third floor with a good choice of suits .All brands ( probably all from the same factory) Big sizes a bit hard to find. Do not pay more then 100-120 USD for a nice suit.Alterations free.Negotiate hard as prices offered start at 300 USD. Other floors have no value for men, but women might appreciate the gold, jewelry and shoes available.Topfloor is food, food, food......

This is a huge mall right in the heart of the city, near the Hatirjheel in Dhaka city. The good thing about this mall is that they have divided each floor with shops offering similar goods/articles. So one floor has mostly jewelry shops, and the next has all leather items and so on. It gets damn busy on weekends and is difficult to move around in. It has eight floors and all flooded with mix of mid-range and up market brands. There is also a scope of negotiation in most shops which offer local made stuff. It is a decent visit and good for those looking to spend time shopping around.

Visit here twice for movie. This shopping mall is too crowded !!!
You feel like you cant even breath when you walk out from the shopping mall as its too hot out there and alot people loitering outside the mall. There was a group of beggar(mostly kids) always standby just near the main road and keep asking for money, stop you by holding your hand, its too annoying. The food court, 90% of the food is fried chicken……
Should have some control for the food court, not much choices you can get over there other than oily food...

I stayed at the Pan Pacific Saragaon Hotel and Bashundara City Shopping Mall is a five minute walk away. There is a currency exchange booth on the ground floor with good rates. On the top floor there are cinemas and lots of cholesterol laden fast food outlets. There are about seven floors of small shops with each floor largely designated to certain categories of goods. eg mobile phones, men's clothes. women's clothes, saris etc. If you want the latest films on DVDs, these are cheap. Apart from the DVDs I bought a pair of shoes that were reasonably priced. I prefer markets and so I found this experience to be not much more than just another shopping mall.

One of the biggest shopping mall of Bangladesh. I love there parking facilities its best for self drive car owners. Huge with all automated system. Also there cinema hall is best of its kind. all new movies are almost available for premier. Plus there shopping mall pricing system is also quite good for shoes and clothes. There Food court is always crowded though they need to maintain more of there food court food stalls. But mostly the mall is large and best. I just love watching movies at there cinemas its almost 90% abroad feel . They are improving lots. they are best now.
