I did the visit to the Parliament Building and to the Baitur Rauf Mosque in early October.
The mosque is not of big size , but it is monumental in terms of design. It has a high quality architecture masterpiece. We loved to see it and to spend some time in there.
We also visited the parliament building. It is also an architecture masterpiece and the insides are exquisite. This building is very sensitive in terms of access and security. It takes time for preparation and logistics to get the entry permits (Sayed was instrumental with this part). Inside you can’t have your mobile phones, nor take pictures. We were always in company of guards and security during the visit.
In midst of this security setting, the parliament personnel was at the same time eager and proud of showing around. Out of the 9 floors we walked on 3 of them that included the library, and the plenary assembly.
As we appreciate modern architecture, we liked the tour with all its uniqueness and special sensitiveness about it.
Our guide Shujon was the perfect facilitator, especially as we don’t speak the language. Communicating with Shujon was very easy and pleasant. He has a great presence and is always optimistic while navigating uncertainties in this Dhaka city.
We recommend this tour if you have this kind of attitude, that is different than mass tourism.

Bangladesh does not have a tourism infrastructure yet and the environment is tiring, so although it is expensive, it is worth joining a tour. In particular, access to the Parliament Building, which is the country's representative building, is difficult by normal means. This agent arranged access to the Parliament Building, especially at a time when reservations are difficult to make. The guide was polite and the visit went smoothly.

I cannot recommend Travel and Explore BD highly enough - they were brilliant! Sayed was great from beginning to end. He designed the perfect trip for me at short notice, on a budget, and with only a few days available to visit all the sights I wanted to see. My guide in Dhaka, Mr Awal, was excellent. He was really knowledgeable about all the sites, taught me so much about Bengali history and culture (including eating with my fingers) and was great fun! Saalim, my guide in Rajshahi was brilliant. He showed me all of the city and the historic palaces and temples in Natore/Puthia and also showed me true Bengali hospitality. Throughout the tour my driver Zihad was excellent. Not only was he a great driver (a must in Bangladesh) but he was also great company and gave me a good introduction to the latest music hits!

I contacted Sayed about a tour of the Bangladeshi Parliament. We didn’t realize the time necessary to make such arrangements. Sayed wasn’t phased, he got to work on it immediately and secured the tour: 3 adults and three children (ages 13-11 and 6). We were picked up timely by Sujan our guide and a driver. Sujan took us to Parliament. We had a wonderful tour of the gardens and surrounding area. We then entered the Parliament building and received a very professional tour of the i credible historic landmark. The building left us in awe. The guides answered our every question.
Bangladesh has shown me some of the warmest kindness I have experienced. Combine that warmth with the professionalism of Sayed and Sujan and you can’t fail to have a revelatory time at one of the architectural gems on the planet.

We contacted Sayed with a tight window of time to work with as we had limited days left in Dhaka.
He assured us that there was a strong possibility we could receive permission to visit the Parliament Builds but he had to work fast and we had to follow the strict application process that he expertly guided us through.
His superb communication skills gave us confidence he would be able to provide the necessary passes and indeed he was able to do this.
Excitedly we met Sayed and one other of his clients at the main gates on the day of our tour and proceeded through security to begin this privileged tour of magnificent architecture on a site of great national importance.
We were given time to absorb and photograph the buildings before handing our cameras in and entering through the main entrance. Sayed accompanied us with official guides and security personnel showing us around and explaining where we were in the vast building.
Although we were in a very formal environment the staff were welcoming and open for questions.
Sayed’s presence was a pleasure too and added a professional touch to the tour that we all enjoyed.
After being allowed into the central parliament chamber which was incredible, the tour cleverly wound its way up and out finishing on the huge south facing terrace with fantastic views of the building and the grounds.
What an experience!
Five stars all the way.

I've helped my colleagues get in touch with Sayed to arrange for a visit to the National Parliament Building while they're in Dhaka for a short business trip.
The response was prompt, arrangement made was very efficient given I've only informed Sayed of my colleagues' intention to visit the building on short notice & I've understood that permission was needed to visit a government building.
He has also given some recommendations to provide side visits to the some other architecturally well-known landmarks of Dhaka after finding out we're from the industry.
Overall, I'm really satisfied with the services given prior the actual tour, & my colleagues had also feedback to me of the great services from the guide & driver after their visit. Would definitely recommend this agency to anyone who's in Dhaka , whether for leisure or work.

Mr. Sayed was the most helpful and wonderful guide. He helped organise many parts of my trip even though I had engaged his services primarily for the Parliament Building Tour (which is really worth a dekko for any one interested in modern architecture). He is a great communicator and kept in touch over WhatsApp regularly before and after the tour itself. He also took me to his house and fed me a home-cooked meal of fish, veggies and rice when he realised I was interested in the local cuisine. Experiences like these are hard to come by and I am thankful to him for opening his home to me. I highly recommend his services to anyone visiting Bangladesh.

Excellent organization on short notice of a tour of the ship-breaking beaches of Chittagong, Bangladesh. The level of service, from communication to the friendliness of the guide and driver on the ground, exceeded all expectations. This service is very professional!

I had a great time touring Dhaka and Barishal with travel and explore BD. Mr Sayed, the owner, was responsive and attentive before and all throughout the trip. He is friendly, knowledgeable and i had a good time walking the streets of Old Dhaka, taking a wooden boat ride and trying the local food.
The trip to Barishal was great too. Mr Ontu, a local guide, is knowledgeable, friendly and introduced lots of great local snacks and dishes. The Barishal backwater boat rides are simply serene and beautiful. The water markets and otter fishing are eye openers.
Overall, thanks to the trip, i have a very good experience in Bangladesh and look forward to visiting this underrated yet wonderful country again soon.

Travel and Explore BD arranged a tour for us with ferry transportation fram Dhaka to Barisal and two days in Barisal experiencing the back waters with a local guide.
We booked the tour some months in advance from abroad and we have been very happy with the service provided all the way through this proces, as well as during the trip itself. We have had precise and honest communication all the way through and any questions and needs have been answered to with true diligence.
The tour itself and the guides used have all been satisfactory, with good English language skills and much knowledge of the area we have explored, its nature, people and history.
All in all we can definitely recommend this agency!
