Without any doubt, this is one of the coolest place in Dhaka. If you have a bit of interest in planes and like to enjoy sitting on the green field under the beautiful sky, then I would recommend you to definitely visit this place. Due to the military extra security system this place is free of eve-teasers and other uncultured cripple minded people.
Therefore, you would be able to enjoy your time quite well with your family-friends or beloved ones.
This is also a kid friendly place.
Overall, a highly recommend place.

This is museum cum heritage park. Located at the Agargaon opposite of IDB Computer city. Entry fee is BDT 40/- (Adult), BDT 20/- (Child) & age below 5 no need fee. Lot of Fighter Plane are displayed. These Plane and helicopter are took part in the Freedom Fight in 1971. You can also see first Biman Bangladesh Airlines. Most peculiar thing is you will see park inside a park and you will be charged to enter that park. Mostly that park is for Children. I remember they called theme park. You can ride boat for 1hr for BDT 50/-. One thing is clear that they have maintained the park neat and clean. You can roam with a golf car which also cost BDT 50/- for 1 round. Children are amused with Toy Train inside the Theme Park. Lots of activity for children. If you get hungry then you can have food at Zaitun. Their food quality is great but price is higher. I appreciate to Bangladesh Air Force for giving us some refreshment facility. I recommend to visit this place in the evening and in full moon night. Park is open from 10 am to 8 pm.

Bangladesh Air force Museum is located at the western side of Tejgaon old airport runway adjacent to Taltola gate of Agargaon area adjacent to Begum Rokeya Sarony in Dhaka. There are various types of phased out aircrafts and equipment have been kept in the Museum. Several artifacts are displayed there including the helicopters and aircrafts used in the 1971 liberation war. The museum provides knowledge on the field of aviation to the local peoples and tourists. They have charged some token entry fees for all visitors to visit the museum. There is a food court and souvenir shop is also available there. It is well worthy to pay a visit to this interesting open air museum for the family and tourists to acquire in depth knowledge about the aviation field.

A great place for hanging out with kids or anyone who's interested in historical items.
The site consists of planes used in our wartime special mentions such as the Russian Mig-21 and the American f-86 Sabre. I took quite alot of pictures to give you a visual representation of the planes which are left there for everyone to view
