Baku Boulevard (Dənizkənarı Milli Park, also known as National Park) established in 1909 runs parallel to Baku's seafront. Its history goes back more than 100 years, to a time when Baku oil barons built their mansions along the Caspian shore and when the seafront was artificially built up inch by inch. Traditionally starts at Freedom Square continuing west to the Old City and beyond.Baku Boulevard is the second longest Boulevard in the Europe situated on the Caspian sea.

Baku Boulevard is a wonderful place for a stroll. The Boulevard runs alongside the Caspian Sea from one side of Baku to the other. The whole area has a lovely vibe. Many people are out for a walk or a jog but it also provides a safe and spacious playing area for children.
It has a number of different parks running adjacent to it and also some beautiful gardens (including a rather impressive cactus garden) restaurants and cafes. It also provides beautiful views out to the Caspian Sea and of of the whole bay and also back towards the city.
Like the rest of Baku, this area is kept immaculately clean. It’s a wonderful place to sit and take in the view or to escape the busier parts of the city.

This is a great walk from one end of the city to the other if you want to avoid the heat from the Sun as you can walk amongst the trees. Along the route many restaurants are serving a variety of foods. You will also find many ice cream coffee stalls along the way.

This is great if you want to rollerblade, cycle or run. With the whole area covering roughly a mile in length along the sea.

The Boulevard is fun, multi-faceted way to experience Baku. Parks, restaurants and cafes, small areas with amusement rides for kids, a mall, and more, all along the seaside. We were in Baku four days and walked along parts of it every day either for fun or as a scenic way to get to another part of the city (it helped that our hotel was just across the street from the Boulevard).

We spent a lot of time strolling along Baku Boulevard while we were in the city. There are some amazing views of the Caspian Sea, the Flame Towers. The Boulevard and surrounding attractions are well maintained and it was always a nice place to escape to away from the bustle of city. It is area of the city that is a great place to visit during the day and especially at night when the dancing flames can be seen emitting from the Flame Towers.

Baku boulevard is rather long. Many young people use it for bycycling and jogging. But in summer when it's 35 degrees C we preferred walking there in the shade of the trees or sitting on the bench and eating ice cream.
There are cafes where one can have tea or sweets. They have examples of interesting exotic plants there like African baobab or some rare Olive tree.
There are 2 shopping malls at the boulevard. One reminds of Sydney opera building by it's shape. The other one is close to Hilton hotel.

When you need to walk out somewhere and relax, this is the best place. This is a Promenade you can walk along, waves of Caspian sea, sounds of seagulls and other birds calm your soul. It can be winding, don't forget to take the warm clothes.

It’s a beautiful place to explore the city of Baku. Many iconic places are located just nearby and one can stroll down for walk over here with cool winds blowing from Caspian sea. There is crystal mall, museum of carpet, Ferris wheel etc over here.

If there is one thing that can be said for Baku is that you can walk. Sounds odd but there are plenty of cities where having space to walk and wander are a rare premium, Baku has it in abundance. The Bulvar is fabulous, a stroke of genius from the government. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants along the way so you can stop and rest whenever you feel like. Some of the cafes are a bit greasy and sleazy, charging stupid prices for a coffee but this is to be expected as this kid a tourist spot. That said, there are also some fine ding in restaurants on the strip too and these are high class (Port Wine & Grill, Chayki to name two). The sea air is not always that pleasant but then where is the sea air perfumed all year round! You can hire pedal cycles near Dalga Plaza if you prefer to ride than walk. There is even a shopping mall along the way with shops and eateries to temp you in.

Beutifuuly clean and pleasant place to walk by the sea. Plenty of benches to rest and trees for shade. Cafes of mixed quality but many to choose from. I felt safe here.
