I took this tour after being approached next to Maiden tower by a tour rep. I was a little hesitant but it turns out there was nothing to fear. The tour was professional. The guides turned up on time to collect me near my accommodation, the tour guides were friendly and knowledgable (Emir was ours, or Əmir as he explained). The bus was clean and new and had USB power ports by seats. Lunch was at a restaurant in Baku with nice grounds. It was tasty but pretty basic. The mud volcanoes were fascinating, and the ride to them in Russian lada cars was unique. Seeing the petroglyphs was fun and the views were amazing. After lunch the highlight for me was the Zoroastrian temple. All in all it was a pleasant day out for not too much money with friendly and informed guides.

It was excellent tour overall and it was well organized. Amir Raza was the tour guide for that day,He has thorough understanding of the tour sites and he has explained the rationale behind eruption of mud volcanoes and the Yanar Dag ,(the burning mountain) very well. Moreover, the history of absheron and aatishgah was very interesting to hear from all different eras. I believe the knowledge of the guide is very important in such tours and the guide has shared the information very well. Henceforth, pick up from hotel was on time and food from the restaurant was delicious Thanks to Aaliyah/Haniyaa (not sure about the name) for giving the tour. Good value for money Highly recommended tour 👍

We really enjoyed the tour with Nassif to Gobustan, the burning mountain and the temple of fire. Nothing like having a guided tour through these unique places.
