We definitely loved our food and wine-tasting tour! Geni, our tour guide, did a fantastic job explaining the wine and food culture in Azerbaijan, as well as the history behind several sites we visited in the area. The food was absolutely delicious, every stop was more delicious than the last

Geni was also super knowledgeable and personable with a great sense of humor.
If you want to immerse yourself in a beautiful city and try delicious traditional, local foods - this is the tour for you. This tour is so delicious! Would definitely recommend it!

We had a chance to viist 4 places where we tasted local food, wine, street food and local sweets (pakhlava) with tea. The tour is not only about visiting places and eating only, you can get information about the food and wine as you taste and about the architechture of the city along the way. Another advantage it that the tour is not limited to the city center, tourists can see the connecting streets to the center.

Don't go, just don't go. Awful experience starting from Baku airport to everything else. They do not like foreigners and you can tell the moment you reach the visa desk, and check your paper. The officers treat you as if you are an intruder to their country. The people in general are not welcoming and the country roads are so dangerous specially near mountains and not well maintained. Some of the food was ok but not great. Please save your money and go somewhere else where they treat you like a human being, not a criminal just because you are a foreinger.

Dear Alina, Thank you very much for joining us on our Baku Walking Free Tour and for taking the time to review us on TripAdvisor. Although it is little difficult to comprehend, we appreciate your feedback. Because this kind of feedback helps us to eliminate shortcomings and improve our services. I also did consulted with Eldar, the tour guide. He did not only delivered services for what we offer in our website but also he accompanied you to a Bank office and took you to 28 Mall and then, finally, walked you to a bus station. It'd very helpful if you could write to us more in details what exactly went wrong. Kind regards, Gani.

The tour was professional, very well thought through, informative and enjoyable. Our guide generously shared knowledge about history and present days of Baku and his country and made the tour a pleasurable learning experience. So glad I had the opportunity to participate.

I booked a last minute trip to Baku and didn't have a set plan. I booked this walking tour to get some history and information about a city I knew little about. My online booking was confirmed quickly. I met Gani at the appointed time and spent the next 2.5 hours learning so much information about Baku and Azerbaijan. Gani is very knowledgeable and passionate and enthusiastic. He was able to answer the group's questions and encouraged conversation. At the end of the tour we had tea and Gani gave us some great recommendations for local food which we tried and were completed impressed. I am happy to recommend Azerbaijan Traveller walking tours and Gani to anyone visiting Baku!

I did the Free Walking Tour of Baku on 12DEC2019 with Gani. He did a great job sharing history and culture while walking around important parts of town. Gani answered all my questions about both the city as well as any questions about our trip. Don't forget your camera! This tour is a great way to start off your visit to Baku; don't miss it!
