We definitely loved our food and wine-tasting tour! Geni, our tour guide, did a fantastic job explaining the wine and food culture in Azerbaijan, as well as the history behind several sites we visited in the area. The food was absolutely delicious, every stop was more delicious than the last

Geni was also super knowledgeable and personable with a great sense of humor.
If you want to immerse yourself in a beautiful city and try delicious traditional, local foods - this is the tour for you. This tour is so delicious! Would definitely recommend it!

This was one of the best free walking tours I have ever done and I have done a lot all over the world. The guide was very educated and informative about the history and places in Baku. He made the experience amazing by showing photos and explaining how the city is such an eclectic mix.

I strong recommend anyone going to take this tour.

We had a chance to viist 4 places where we tasted local food, wine, street food and local sweets (pakhlava) with tea. The tour is not only about visiting places and eating only, you can get information about the food and wine as you taste and about the architechture of the city along the way. Another advantage it that the tour is not limited to the city center, tourists can see the connecting streets to the center.

Our guide, Gani was very informative and interesting. I learnt a lot about Baku history and it was a great introduction to Baku. The time allocated was appropriate for a free tour and inspired me to explore the old city more.

Gani was the best walking tour guide we have had in any city in the world. He was funny, charming, interesting and clear to listen to. He knew how to manage a rowdy crowd! He really gave us a picture of the city which we weren’t getting clearly by ourselves. He answered all questions with solid knowledge and a bit of humor when appropriate. If you’re in Baku you must take a walking tour with Gani!

Don't go, just don't go. Awful experience starting from Baku airport to everything else. They do not like foreigners and you can tell the moment you reach the visa desk, and check your paper. The officers treat you as if you are an intruder to their country. The people in general are not welcoming and the country roads are so dangerous specially near mountains and not well maintained. Some of the food was ok but not great. Please save your money and go somewhere else where they treat you like a human being, not a criminal just because you are a foreinger.

Baku, Azerbaijan a must visit place on earth. If you really want to take break from hot weather of India in summer and enjoy the European spring session in April with Arabic culture… Baku is the answer. We spent 7N and 8D in Baku, Gabala, Shahdag and Gobustan.. Each one is having unique memory to preserve in my mind..

Forget to add the name of Zhala, who arrange the tour packages for us and make trip so smooth all of us. She is excellent tour guide, well connected with local people, easy to communicate. For us, it was just old architectural style building, Zhala added the story into and helped us in connected the dot. Fuad, cab driver is excellent person, made our ride smooth on road as well as tourist spot..

Again I would suggest to keep Atleast 5N in pocket to enjoy the beauty of Baku in any weather..

Dear Alina, Thank you very much for joining us on our Baku Walking Free Tour and for taking the time to review us on TripAdvisor. Although it is little difficult to comprehend, we appreciate your feedback. Because this kind of feedback helps us to eliminate shortcomings and improve our services. I also did consulted with Eldar, the tour guide. He did not only delivered services for what we offer in our website but also he accompanied you to a Bank office and took you to 28 Mall and then, finally, walked you to a bus station. It'd very helpful if you could write to us more in details what exactly went wrong. Kind regards, Gani.
