Fernando Botero is one of the most acclaimed living sculptors in the whole world! Finding one single work by this MedellÃn born Colombian artist is already fantastic, but at Yerevan's "Cafesjian Sculpture Garden", in the "Cascade Complex", you will simply find "three" of his masterpiece works. "Mujer que Fuma" (Smoking Woman), a bronze dark brown patina sculpture, sided the "Gatto" (The Cat) and the "Guerrero Romano" (Roman Warrior), dates from 1987 and is one of the must-see statues at this breathtaking garden. Enjoy!

I loved the sculpture and sent pictures of it to many friends saying that she is waiting for them in Yerevan. What I love most is sitting on the benches near the stature and watching people react to her. She is one of the most photographed of all the sculptures and usually with people with a hand on her bum. So I guess you can say that she was entertaining for me.

These sculpture are in park with alot of them they're okay in my opinion but definitely worth checking out it's a nice place in total and alot of Nice restaurant around.

The smoking lady is a great sculpture , but does not fit Yerevan and especially Cascade at all. Just put it in another place 1

I recon if the model was a little slimmer, a lot of bronze could have been saved... but then it would only be too commonplace!

the famous bulbous "Smoking Woman" sculpture, in Yerevan, Armenia. The public art piece was created by Colombian artist Fernando Botero, who has littered the whole Cascades development with his work in Yerevan, Armenia

At the foot of the Cascade complex is a sculpture garden with a number of Botero statues. It's hard to beat his work for humor. I love them.
