This is one of the well known sculptures in Yerevan. The Karabala Papik (The flower seller).
During the reconstruction of Yerevan it has been moved around a few times. Now you can find it on Abovyan street (near Square One).

A really lovely statue of an elderly man holding flowers. It is such a charming statue, definitely one if my favourites in Yerevan.
His hand has been worn from peopke touching It, he seems such a lovely man with a wonderful expression of kindness and benevolence
Located a short walk from Republic Square on the way to Northern Avenue.

Karabala is a man who sells flower and is said to give flowers to ladies. During our visit to Armenia, while walking towards North Avenue from Republic Square, one old guy we thought was the apparition of Karabala handed out roses to us. We were like...Karabala!!! The statue can be seen outside an RTW shop on the way towards Nothr ave.

There are sculptures all over the city that you can spot as you walk. This is a good walking city to observe people and life. This is just one of many statues worth seeing.

We were on our way to the Northern Avenue when we passed by a sculpture which turned out to be the Prodavets Tsvetov. Nothing special.

The sculpture is not called prodovets tsvetov, its real name is Karabala. It is outrageous that in TripAdvisor the statue in the heart of Yerevan is called some stupid Russian expression instead of the real name. I would like to ask you to correct the name the soonest possible,
