A tiny yet inviting building, we stumbled upon St Anne's Church while walking around Yerevan. We felt compelled to check it out and once inside, I was glad we did!

“What I Needed”

I was walking along the streets looking for a nice place to have a coffee and beer then I saw this place. Wasn’t really aware that this is a church until I saw a girl made a sign of the cross before going inside. Went inside to give thanks for this chance to travel in this very nice city. The inside is very simple and quiet which is a really nice ambiance to pray. Thankful to bump into this church on a Sunday afternoon.

What I Needed

I was walking along the streets looking for a nice place to have a coffee and beer then I saw this place.

Went inside to give thanks for this chance to travel in this very nice city. The inside is very simple and quiet which is a really nice ambiance to pray.

A Must-See in Yerevan

If you're in Yerevan, don't miss this one! It's a beautiful church with a very nice architecture. I loved the combination of this one with the older church right next to it (Kathighike Church).

Old Church in the city center

New church but don't skip it

This is a new church in the center of Yerevan. Many locals do not like visiting new churches, but this church is so special. Nice icons, beautiful vibes… don’t skip it.

Nice church in the city center

This is a new church in the heart of Yerevan, built in 2012-2014 in the backside of St. Katoghike church.
Built in the place of a big Soviet style building, this church in complex with old St. Katoghike Church (12-13 century) creates a new and nice corner in Yerevan to visit and have some rest.
