The Arno Babajanyan statue is full of charisma and energy. Funnily enough it is situated in a quiet and tranquil park in the heart of the city. A great place for refreshments, coffee, food and people watching around the Swan Lake.

Had walk around the city and found this place. From here walked to Cascade but it was raining and couldn`t go up.

Arno Babajanyan Statue

This statue is next to the opera house. There is a lot of night music in this place at night and a lot of vendors play there. My suggestion is to go there at night.

Superb sculpture of the Armenian composer and pianist by Swan Lake near the Opera.
I love his jaunty position leaning back from the keys brimming with energy and passion.
It's one of the nicest sculptures in the city and makes for a great photo stop.

Another Beautiful Statue during my walks around Yerevan

I noticed this beautiful statue while walking towards the meeting place for our Group Tour. This statue is big, seemed interesting and different from most statues I’ve seen around the city.

He must be famous and must have done something good for the city to have his monument here.

Certainly an original pose and unique to the more formal statues doyyed around the area. Bit of a marmite installation, it certainly conveys movement and fluidity which is quite appropriate being near a water feature.
