First, it is an impressive sight when coming around the corner with a wonderful park in front with all sorts of whimsical, modern sculptures. The Stairs are very cool to look at and it is worth a trip to the top for the views. Inside is the Museum of Modern Art, of which I am normally not a fan, but... More

This is the best place for people watching in town and it gets cool breezes in the evenings. A vast series of terraces carved out of a hill side which have statues and fountains. A grand conception which has not been fully realised.

This place have been upgraded in the 2000’s, with its newly museum about contampory art. Actually the cascade have two really nice expositions that i admire, two about the iranian artist that wants to put modernitery in tradition. The full cascasde is great to see since it offers very much culture, have ‘’squares’ with gardens on it and offers a... More

This is one of must seen place in Yerevan, I`ll recommend to get to the top of Cascade by the elevators and then back down by walk. I`m sure you`ll meet so many interesting works and sculptures on your way. And don`t forget to visit Khanjyan`s gallery inside of Cascade, 3 huge paintings describing whole history of Armenia, the entrance... More

Going up 500 steps was never easier nor more worth it...having an overview of the entire city, topped with an eagle's eye view of the forever Armenian Mount Ararat was definitely a highlight of our trip to beautiful Armenia.

Cascade is one of the walk directions if you are exploring Yerevan center. Your route can be: Republic Square - Northern Avenue - Opera House - Cascade. It is a museum, but what people like about it, is the view of Yerevan and Ararat mountain. I think this is a must see for anyone visiting Yerevan. It is roughly 500... More

I recommend to visit the cascade about sunset so you can take some photo in daylight and enjoy viewing the city in the night. During the July and August the hot weather during the days may make you uncomfortable.

Yes it's a main sight in Yerevan and if here with spare time you should see it... but it's not spectacular or amazing! It's looks better in photos online probably photoshopped as there is still construction work at the top and at the sides. Take the old rattly escalator up from the left side at the bottom and walk down.... More
