Discover three of south Armenia’s historical highlights on a 14-hour tour from Yerevan. Visit Noravank, the country’s only 2-story medieval monastery, and explore the Tatev Monastery, once a center of learning, set on a mountain plateau. Uncover its history and ride the ‘Wings of Tatev’ cableway, the world’s longest without stops. Finally, visit Karahunj, whose prehistoric stones formed an astronomical observatory. Cableway ride, entrance fees, and central and hotel pickup and drop-off in Yerevan included.

You should visit this place during the day and night. The square has some nice architecture that is best viewed during the day and at night there are dancing fountains (the water fountains put on a show to music and lights).

"Republic Square" was designed, in 1924, by iconic Russian-born Armenian architect Alexander Tamanyan in his plans for renovating Yerevan. It consists of a roundabout and a pool. At the roundabout, five major neoclassical buildings - the "Government House", the "History Museum and National Gallery", the "Armenia Marriott Hotel", and the former headquarters of the "Ministry of Foreign Affairs" and of the "Ministry of Transport and Communications". At the pool, the gracious and popular "Dancing Fountains". You will certainly pass through "Republic Square" many times during your visit to Yerevan, as it is the usual way to some of the city's most important attractions. The square is generally busy and crowded, principally in the evenings when the "Dancing Fountains" are on! Unmissable! Enjoy!
