I can’t say enough about the professional manner this tour company displayed in face of a very tight and complex request for a private tour. I had prompt replies right from my first email to dealings directly with Florena.
She was extremely diligent and listening to my extensive request, followed up quickly with an almost flawless itinerary She worked after hours to make changes and included ideas for activities. Florena was very patient with me and was very honest about this time of year in Armenia and the possibilities that what I wanted to see may not happen due to the weather. After much conversing, other circumstances came in to play, and I wasn’t able to do the three day tour.
However, I would definitely have her and this company do another private trip ,at the drop of a hat , if my trip is on their list of places to go. Thank you so much Florena !!!

The Caucasus are an amazing part of the world to see. We had a fantastic time. The 17 day trip went very smoothly with guides that were on time, knowledgeable, good company and looked after us extremely well. The itinerary took in all the main sights and made good use of our time. The scenery was diverse and beautiful. Hasmik was always prompt at answering our questions and always on hand to sort out any issues arising along the way. She even facilitated us to change the itinerary on one day as we wanted to include a trip to see the Stalin museum at Gori in Georgia. We felt that we could not have had better service and highly recommend booking with Arara tours. The standard of hotels was also generally good. Thank you to the entire team and our wonderful guides.

We booked an 11 day itinerary in Armenia with hikes, on personal recommendation from a friend who’d travelled with Arara. To accommodate our dates, Zara worked out a personalised itinerary for us, choosing a guide appropriate to our needs and the activities.
Zara was extremely prompt and flexible - she rejigged our itinerary a few times ahead of our arrival, to accommodate changes in our dates. Transfers and bookings went smoothly.
It is difficult to express how much we appreciated our time with our guides, Arthur and Levon. Not only did they manage the arrangements, which they communicated clearly, and revise the itinerary on the fly to incorporate opportunities that came up as they drive us around; they were also extremely generous in conversation, sharing their lives, experiences and understanding of Armenian culture and history.
We highly recommend travelling to Armenia with Arara!

Having looked for a local tour company and a combination of hiking and sightseeing in Armenia, Arara Tour was the perfect tour operator to choose. I signed up for a one week tour in early September and was very happy that my tour was not cancelled although I was the only one who had signed up. Vardan was my guide throughout the stay and I learned so much from him about the country, its history and its people. I felt super safe and well taken care of. The tour combined many UNESCO world heritage sights, hiking in Armenia-s mountains, and Vardan kindly adjusted the itinerary slightly so that we could add sights along the road which I had read about. We stayed in clean and comfortable three star accommodation in different locations. Breakfast was included and lunch was available along the route and dinner at the hotel or in the vicinity. Evenings on my own in Yerevan were no problem at all, the city being safe and offering many interesting spots to discover.

We booked a 17-day trip with Arara, visiting Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan. Haykuhi helped us create a custom itinerary, adjusting it to fit our travel dates and needs. She was very quick in responding to our questions and made changes whenever needed. All transfers and bookings went smoothly.
Our guide in Georgia-Tazo and Arthur in Armenia made our trip unforgettable. They handled the logistics perfectly and were always clear with our plans. They shared their deep knowledge of the local culture and history, making each conversation meaningful.
We have already recommended Arara to our friends :)

Since last year, when I was planning a private trip to 🇦🇲Armenia, I discovered Arara Tour. Hasmik, a gracious lady, has been my point of contact for nearly a year leading up to my actual holiday in 🇦🇲Armenia.😀👍🏻 I discussed my pre-planned 8-day itinerary with Hasmik, and she flawlessly arranged everything according to my preferences, including the hotels I requested. The transportation was efficiently organized and I had the pleasure of having an excellent private guide and chauffeur, Mr. Artur, who was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, helpful, and intelligent. I look forward to returning to Armenia with the assistance of Arara Tour in the near future. Thank you so much Hasmik & Artur, you made my holiday the memorable one!

My husband needed to visit five more countries to total 80 countries by the time he turned 80 this year. So Arara Tour through Sati, our travel agent, helped us plan a trip to Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. This area of the world is not familiar to us but we were interested in them, especially because my husband's DNA ancestry test showed that his haplogroup originated in the Caucasus region some 20,000 years ago! We were excited to see the rock carvings in Gobustan State Historical and Cultural Reserve in Azerbaijan. Touching the rocks felt like a direct connection with his ancestors.
We learned a lot about ancient history and marvelled at the infrastructure of Ashgabat, the Heydar Aliyev Centre, many UNESCO heritage sites, preserved areas of the Silk Road, vineyards and tunnels to keep wine in Georgia, ancient monuments, mosques and churches, and early history of Christianity in Armenia.
People were hospitable, courteous and welcoming. We were invited to join wedding photos and have selfies with school kids. We felt safe in all the places.
Our guides in each country were knowledgeable, accommodating, humorous and responsive to our needs. The vehicles we travelled in were newer models, clean and comfortable. Our private tour group included four seniors and our son, his wife and a university age granddaughter. Our travel agent, Sati, followed the progress of our trip, even arranging a surprise cake for my birthday and meeting us at the end of our trip. Through the planning stages, she answered emails promptly, accommodated our requests and guided us to ensure all visa requirements were met,
She asked for our feedback to improve our travel experience. We related to her that trips to Kow-Ata and Darvaza outside Ashgabat were long and uncomfortable because the roads were riddled with pot holes. It would be best to consult with guides to know the current status of roads. A trip to Mary would need an overnight stay because this UNESCO World Heritage site was one of the largest and biggest cities of the ancient world and has a lot to offer. A new Autobahn road is almost complete to make the drive from Ashgabat faster and comfortable. Crossing borders by land can be easier if travelers keep luggage light. There is quite a distance to walk between each country's passport control where travelers have to go on their own.
Thanks to Arara and our excellent guides, this itinerary surpassed our expectations on every level. It provided not only enriching experiences and valuable knowledge but also heartfelt connections with the locals. Moreover, it opened our eyes to the remarkable progress and development happening in these areas.

Trip to Azerbaijan/Georgia/Armenia.
I enjoyed the trip immensely and really appreciated the superb organisation by Arara tours.
The hotels; The hotels we stayed in were all of a high quality. They were all clean and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff and a great breakfast every morning. I liked that they were all centrally located with easy walking distance into town. The hotel in Yerevan even had a pool and a sauna which was an added bonus.
The guides; All three guides were very knowledgable and clearly passionate about their countries. I particularly liked Sophie, our Georgian guide who was engaging and had a great sense of humour.
The travel; The mini busses that were used for us were just the right size for our group of 11. They were comfortable with air con and a constant flow of bottles of cool water.
The organisation; The entire organisation was faultless. From the moment I booked the trip I was given clear instructions and detailed information on the places we would visit. Ani answered all my questions promptly and was always at the end of an email providing the answers to my queries. Transfers were on time and taxis were punctual.
We had clear instructions in all 3 countries on timings to meet the bus etc. Border crossings were organised faultlessly and there was always a guide around to help with any eventualities.
I liked that we saw a vast array of different things, from churches to wine tasting, monasteries to mud volcanoes, palaces to bread baking. It was all lovely.
5* from me! I would definitely travel with Arara tours again and would thoroughly recommend them to my friends or anyone interested in travelling to these three absolutely wonderful countries.
Thank you very much to you, Ani and your team for organising such a fantastic trip.

An excellent trip from start to finish! We travelled through Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia. The tours were packed with interesting visits and activities, and we were able to adjust the itinerary as we chose. The guides were excellent - they spoke numerous languages effortlessly and were very knowledgeable and extra helpful. The hotels were very nice and they all provided good breakfasts. Also there is a dedicated tour manager available to answer any questions before and during the tour who provided excellent information and regularly checked up on us throughout our trip.
Thanks Hasmik and Arara Tour - we look forward to our next trip with you 🥰

I did the 13-day small group tour in Azerbaijan, Georgia & Armenia with Arara tours in September. Being a solo traveler, I was a bit hesitant to book with a company I have never heard of.
When I made my first email inquiry, Hasmik replied with all the requested details and continued to do so for over a period of two months - almost instantly every time I made an inquiry. So, they won my trust and maintained it throughout the tour until my departure from the Yerevan airport.
The tour covered most of the highlights in all three countries, we were well taken care of, had wonderful guides and comfortable vehicles. During the tour, Hasmik checked on us to see how we were doing. She was always available on WhatsApp which put the travelers at ease.
I chose the 4-star option, and the price was reasonable for the level of service provided. I highly recommend this company for tours in the Caucasus.
