A great experience
Jun 2019 • Solo
I had a really nice experience having a cooking class here. Zhanna was very kind to organize everything for me very quickly, and when there, translated the whole class for me as well as also explaining other details about Armenian culture and traditions in general. The chef teaching the class was great, and i loved the food we made. I was given a free taxi transfer to and from the class, and was shown around the publishing department downstairs too which was very interesting. All in a all, a great experience.

Recently my interest toward both armenian and foreign cuisine has grown and I was searching places, where I can get the information I want. And that place became Manana.I took part in cooking master classes, one of which was denoted to eastern cuisine.I was very surprised, touched and admired. They are really proefssional in their work. And the interior of the class is typically Armenian. Also I got to know that they have massage master classes for each and various tastes.Thank You Manana for delighted time, tasty dishes, warm atmosphere and so much knowledge.

"COME, SEE & LEARN" at Manana
Oct 2018 • Solo
There is no better way of learning about the culture and traditions of any nation, than to "COME, SEE & LEARN" method. I experienced this pleasure in Manana educational center, participating to the masterclass of the Easter Cuisine. That was simply amazing ! So many colors, tastes, spices and what is of key importance - LOVE, with which the dishes are made. The tastes become memorable exactly due to this LOVE, that is present in every particle of the dish 😊 And not only the Eastern cooking: any time I participated in Manana's Armenian Cuisine masterclasses, I enjoyed the inter-activeness, which is exceptionally important for beginners and rewarded with sweet moments. Another big experience is the SPA masterclass for couples - aromatherapy with flowers, Philippine snails, bamboo sticks, SPA massage with 100% natural ingredients🧚‍♀️. So, whenever you are in ARMENIA, seek for MANANA 👍

Armenian Food
Oct 2018 • Friends
Amazing place where you can learn to cook Armenian Food Recipes, enjoy Traditional Armenian Food and the smiles of the stuff. I always suggest my international (also Armenian) friends to use this opportunity and they all are very satisfied. If you are in Armenia and want to enjoy Armenian atmosphere than this place is the best choice.

Eastern Cuisine Master Class
Oct 2018 • Solo
I always try to be close to my roots and often taste dishes from eastern cuisine. The eastern cuisine master class of "Manana" educational center is one more chance to do it. "Manana" educational center also offer a master class of Armenian National Cuisine, but I chose this one for known reasons)). I hope that the events like this will be more often. Thank you, Manana!

So fun and educational!
Jul 2018 • Couples
My fiance and I had so much fun doing the classes at Manana! We did the cooking class where we learned how to make a delicious trout-stuffed pastry, avelug (Armenian sorrel salad), and the BEST baklava I've ever had. We also did the couples' massage class, which was very fun and (obviously) included an excellent massage in the learning process. I would definitely come back for other classes next time I visit.

A Great Experience
Jul 2018 • Couples
My wife is definitely the cook in the family, so I didn't know if I would enjoy the class, but I had a great time. They arranged for a car to pick us up (and take us back) so we didn't have to worry about a thing. Our talented chef didn't speak english, but there was always an interpreter there who also filmed and took still shots of the whole experience. When you sign up, you pick from a list of traditional Armenian dishes that you'd like to prepare so all of the ingredients are laid out and ready when you arrive. The best part is eating your creation at the end of the class. They offer waters and even a local wine to go with it. There is way too much to consume right there, so they pack up the rest to take home. They seemed very excited to have us there and introduced us to everyone that works in the program. We tried to offer them a tip, but the politely refused. Also, they will probably offer you a tour of the publishing company that is on the first floor and I recommend accepting the offer. You will follow a book from the computer to the printer to cutter to the binder to the store next door. Our visit to the Manana Educational Center cooking class was one of the highlights of our trip to Armenia and I recommend it highly.

The best cooking classes about Armenian National Cuisine
Jun 2017
You can enjoy here not only cooking of different Armenian dishes and famous desserts, but also you can relish your cooking creation on the spot in a cozy corner decorated in Armenian motives. The Master class is organized very well and you will get the Certificate of participation in the end. Also they will present you the cookbook of the recipes of Armenian famous dishes and lovely cute souvenirs. After they put your dishes with you, so you have meal for the dinner and next day's lunch and supper. The portions are big, so you'll not stay hungry. The chef explains everything greatly (the event manager will translate if needed and will organize a perfect photoshoot instead of you). The duration is 3 hours, but you will never get tired. During hosting they serve also beverages and suggest alcohol drinks like Armenian red wine. You feel yourself there like home. They also offer transfer to your hotel and back. On the first floor there is a wonderful bookstore where you can find many interesting books about Armenia and not only in different languages. If somebody is interested they present books about Armenian Genocide not sell them. This tour is for intellectual tourists and is organized in a very high level.
