Mr Lam picked up us from Airport and sent us to Hotel in Nha Trang. He is so punctual and very knowledgeable. He speaks very good English and his driving skill also very good and safe too. He was humble and fun, showed us beautiful places which some not even in our list. I recommend his motorbike tour 10/10 would come back to him again......He also helping us to get face mask 'Cloth Version - Vietnam Style' and bring us to money changer. Seriously i recommend him .....................Thank you Mr.Lam for everything.

Mr.Lam is an engaging man and very outgoing. Everything you would want in a guide and driver. If you want to see real Vietnam in relative comfort (a/c Toyota minivan) with a safe driver who is interesting and knows places off the beaten path, this is the place. He also does motorcycle tours too.
He has ideas as to where to take you, but will tune into what the customer's interest is and help find those experiences.
There were many highlights but the one that comes to mind is that he took us to see how dragonfruits (which I was interested in ) are grown on the side of the road and we ran into the farmer. Next thing we know, the farmer is telling Mr. Lam and us his life story and cutting fruit from his tree, peeling them with a machete and feeding them to us. Best dragonfruit I have ever had. He gave us an extra for the road, 3 mangos, and 2 avocados. And we learned more about Vietnam and the kindness and pride of its wonderful people. This would never have happened without Mr. Lam's engaging personality. We highly recommend him. He is also extremely hard working driving for hours and without a break and taking us to dinner.

We arrived on a cruise ship and were so very fortunate to find the lovely Mr Lam at the port. He made our day in Nha Trang one of the best of our entire two week trip. Clean car, safe driver - tick. Great English (including Australian :-)) and sense of humour - tick, tick. He suggested a combination of some of the "known" sights and some that we would not have found ourselves. The colour in the lead up to Tet was spectacular. One member of our group has a mobility limitation - Mr Lam was so patient, helping us find our way up to Buddhas, across fields and bridges, to a lovely orphanage, his own pho stop for lunch (OMG, yum) and the most lovely little farm - very knowledgeable and interesting insights along the way. Thank you Mr Lam ! You were an absolute highlight of our trip. I'd love to come back and do a motorcycle trip with you.

Highly recommend, took us to places we would have never found riding ourselves. Riding was great (3 riders and 2 passengers), gets a bit hairy when you ride back into Nha Trang but was fun.

Went for a day tour with two mates and would have to be one of the best experiences of my entire trip. We got to visit an orphanage, Buddha statue, visited homes where local goods were being made as well as this beautiful waterfall that you can jump from. Mr Lam is very knowledgeable and accomodating with great English skills. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a guide!

So we ordered a Grab and our driver Mr Lam was very friendly and welcoming. He offered us a private tour (which we were going to do via a 3rd party anywaybut glad we didn't) full of activities, including visits to the main sites. He had good knowledge about everything and really took care of us, at a very rea rate I'd like to add.
We had the option of doing the tour on the back of a motorcycle or his (well kept) people carrier. We chose the latter as there were 6 of us. We started the day visiting a Buddha temple, then stopping for coffee at a coffee garden for some authentic vietnamese coffee. We then drove to see a family weaving traditional mats, a second family making the familiar rice paper snack and a third family making the traditional conical hats. There was no obligation or pressure to purchase anything but the items were so beautifully made it was difficult not to.
We then went to visit another Buddha before stopping for pho (pronounced "pha") which was very tasty.
Afterwards we spent the whole afternoon at Ba Ho whichis like a national park, but this one has a waterfall which you can scale and jump off. There's also a small lake where you can participate in various water activities such as kayaking, paddle boarding etc. There was no pressure or rush from Lam, who participated in everything apart from the watersports.
We finished the day on a coconut farm, with fresh coconut juice.
Thank you Mr Lam for a wonderful day full of

Our family cannot recommend Lam highly enough. He was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. I had read reviews on a few other tour guides and chose Lam from Trip Advisor reviews and we have all agreed it has been our favourite day in Vietnam.
My biggest concern was organising a tour suitable for a 5 and 7 year old who do not enjoy a lot of car travel. Lam arrived early to pick us up and
Made my two boys feel welcome and comfortable straight away.
Lams English is wonderful and we were able to ask a lot of questions as he toured us to an orphanage and some small local businesses he has a relationship with to observe mat making and hat weaving.
We finished the day at a waterfall- the trek with 2 kids was quite a challenge but amazing and
My two boys are still raving about their adventure with Lam - both boys jumping from the cliff to the water below!
Please make sure you get in touch with Lam for a great day you won’t forget (we booked him for our airport transfer as well at the end of our time in Nha Trang - again he was early and ready!) Thank you Lam for some wonderful family memories!

We were disappointed with the changes in Nha Trang since our last visit 10 years ago. The town has lost it's Vietnamese culture and has virtually been taken over by Russian tourists who can fly there directly from Moscow and stay for 40 days without a visa. Shop signs, menus and food are all Russian and with little real Vietnamese influence and hence lacking local culture and flavour.
We decided to get out oif town for a few days and discovered Mr lam. Mr Lam is your man to see around Nha Trang. He speaks excellent English and is very informative of the local area. We visited Doc Let Beach, Ba Ho waterfalls and visited various spots in the countryside outside Nha Trang to see the real Vietnam.
Nothing is too much trouble and he goes well out of his way to make your visit authentic and memorable. He showed us the best restaurants the locals frequent for authentic VN food, even brought his wife along one day who prepared spring rolls and home and cooked them for us at Doc Let beach.
Cannot recommend highly enough!!!

We decided on a whim at 7AM to do a day trip to Doc Let, Ba Ho waterfalls and Po Nagar Cham Tower. Our initial plan was to rent a car and explore the places ourselves but after 2 days here and had experienced the crazy, heart pounding Nha Trang traffic we opted the wisest and sanest choice was to get a driver/guide.
A friend recommended Mr Lam but couldn’t recall his company’s name. Did a bit of research on the net and found our man! I contacted him at 7.20 AM, fretting that this is way too last minute, probably would not be able to accept our request but we were very fortunate. Mr Lam was punctual, picked us up at 9 AM at our apartment. The van was in great condition, comfortable and had powerful A/C. He was informative, helpful, funny, he is a careful driver and communicates well in English. His rates are very reasonable for a day tour. It was a short trek to the falls, Mr Lam is very fit,(he mentioned that he runs and also swims daily in the sea as early as 5.30AM) the boulders are huge, some of the rocks weren’t that easy to climb. We were reasonably fit but found ourselves huffing and puffing a little. We had an amazing time in Ba Ho waterfall, he did the cliff jump first to assure us that it is safe and the pool is deep enough. Water was cold and refreshing. This was the highlight of our tour.
After visiting Po Nagar towers ask Mr Lam to take you to the street food vendors opposite. We came for Banh Xeo but stayed on for Banh Can. It helps that Mr Lam orders for you, the vendors do not speak English but they are very friendly and jovial.
Doc Let was a miss for us, have a peek at my other review on Paradise Resort in Doc Let. We were thankful to have Mr Lam with us as we had an unpleasant experience there. It was quite a distance, about 50 kms away from Tran Phu. The beach in Nha Trang is by far superior and cleaner.
I need to highlight is: Do not purchase any fish sauce because the security at the airport will confiscate from you even if it is in your check in baggage. The flimsy excuse they gave me was that the Air Asia airline prohibits fish sauce on their aircrafts. I found no proof of this. Mr Lam knows a great place to buy fish sauce and other local condiments if you are not travelling on Air Asia. Our tour ended at 5PM, we were delighted with his impeccable service, and we are already making plans to return as he would be our go to guide to Mui Ne, Dalat plus we hope to do a motorbike tour as well.
