We were rushed through that market in about 15 minutes by our tour guide and it was like being on a roller coaster but in a good way! So many interesting things to see and so much to learn visually about people in this country. Every few feet was a fabulous photo opportunity! Most of the people seemed open to having a picture taken and were happy to give a smile, even if they smiled while averting their eyes.

Just another market

Nothing special about this market and you have to dodge the motor bike traffic as well and it seems to be mainly food but it is all stuff you have seen before

Fascinating and fun!

We were rushed through that market in about 15 minutes by our tour guide and it was like being on a roller coaster but in a good way! So many interesting things to see and so much to learn visually about people in this country. Every few feet was a fabulous photo opportunity! Food and cultural experience

The visit of this market was part of my cooking class and in my view, it was really good. The cooking class was an evening class, so we went to the market in search of products to cook . We choose different dishes to cook, my cooking choises were: fish on banana leaves; and fried spring rolls Vietnamese style. The fish at the market was really good and fresh as well as the vegies. I did enjoy very much the products at this market.

nice market but not special

not like Laos Luang Prabang, u can't find special locar souvenir in vietnam market. just market and not so expensive things from china.

Very difficult to barter, great markets

These markets were fantastic for everything you need in the markets. Classic markets though, as in you see the same things a million times over. The only difference with these markets was that it was difficult to barter down to reasonable prices, and if you were making it too cheap for the owners they got upset and angry.
