HOANG YEN TAILOR- THE BRAND OF THOUGHTFULNESS Founded as a small 30-year-lasting family tailoring house, Hoang Yen Tailor has been known as a high-quality and watchful tailor, beloved by many Nha Trang citizens. Lien Anh Angel- descendant of a long-time-tailoring family in Central Vietnam really loves to expand the tailor house business scale. From a small place with 2 sewing machine and 1 cutting table, Hoang Yen Tailor has now got 20 sewing machines and 3 cutting tables with many high-technique facilities. The famous tailor house also has 4 measurer-receptionists, 3 fashion designers, 5 pattern-creators, 10 sewers and many knitters, embroiders, beaders. Lien Anh Angel confesses that she hopes to develop the family tailor brand internationally, for the world to see how talented Vietnamese tailors are. Hoang Yen Tailor is always in the state of serving every customers in 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

Hey there,
Since I enjoy reading other reviews it is time for me to contribute as well. This place is nice and the owner and staff are very friendly. However, there are a couple of things that I would like to mention. I ordered two suits (including one extra pants), three shirts and three short pants. The material is good and the price was appropriate as well (180 $ per suite including the second pants).
Pro: The short pants (ca. 25 $ each) are great and I wear them pretty often (highly recommend them).
Contra: My order was completed one day later than settled (luckily my girlfriend and I could extend our stay in Nha Trang). After I picked up all the things I saw a thread in the collar of one shirt...very obvious and not wearable in that stage. So I went back and the owner told me that she will take care of that...which she did, but now that shirt had to be sent to the next city we travelled to. It worked out, but it was not super convenient. Back in Germany I brought all items to a professional laundry place...I found out, that the tucking (I hope that is the right word) of my suite pants were a little off, meaning that the folding lines were not symmetrically aligned. It is unfortunate, but you can still wear them. I also realized that a couple of buttons of two of my shirts were a little off as well...this results into the fact that I cant wear a tie for two of my three shirts. That bummed me out a little.
Bottom line: good place, but dont expect the best quality. Also, if you have the time, check out every item thoroughly for mistakes...because once you back home it is very hard to go back and ask them to fix it ;)

We went here based on the good reviews this place had received. My brothers wanted to buy suits, so we visited this place. First there was a lady who showed us the place and different alternatives for the suites. She gave us a price and we went back the next day to make the order. The next day there were another, older lady, who said that unfortunately here sister has yesterday given us a too low price, and that we have to pay much more!! That was absolutely ridiculous, and after a long discussion we came back to almost the price we had received a day before, but not completely. We made the order anyway, because we really wanted to make some good suits. There were also a small discussion when she wanted us to pay 100% of the price when we made the order. That we didn't do, thank God, because you always need to see the product before payment, so we paid a small deposit.
After this there was 4 times running back to the store to try on, make some improvements, go back again to try, and finally when they were supposed to be ready, what we saw was not good. Both suits had white chalk all over the sleeves and in the back, and the other suit had a white mark that was in the fabric. We said that we want to receive CLEAN suits and the lady (again older) was really rude and said that " Well we need white chalk when we make suits if you do not understand! It will be gone after YOU take it to laundry". This is when i almost lost my temper and I went out from the store. This resulted in that she said she can take the suits to laundry but we need to pay for that. Absolutely not, so she cleaned the suits, the sleeve with the dots on needed to be changed completely, so I'm happy we didn't take those home with us before they were clean and properly made. This is also why you don't pay 100% before the suits are ready, they probably wouldn't had fixed them and cleaned them if we had paid everything before.
I think they only want money, and are very rude. If you are not happy with the quality they don't care and get angry. It is not rare that if you make a suit, you will receive it clean and ready for use. Not that you tell the customer that it will cost extra to get a clean suit. I wouldn't visit this place again, even tho the suits finally are okay and right size, but it is disturbing to fight and go back several times on your vacation. A big disappointment.

Today I visit Hoang yen taylor. The lady was so friendly and helpful. Her english was good. I made 2 dresses ( 180 USD) also my bf made 3 shirts and one pants ( 154 USD) I am very pleased with the price. Tomorrow I already be able to do fitting. Cant wait to retrieve em. Really recommended to visit while you are in Nha Trang.

I came here when I arrived to Nha Trang in a holiday. I heard a lot of compliments about this place. That's real! I made a dress and a suit, really perfect. I like them so much. Staffs and tailors are so nice n friendly. I will come back Nha Trang and see them next time.

Do not even consider going to this tailor unless you are in Nha Trang for a minimum of 5 days, as it will require multiple fittings - and the more the better, as you do not always get what you want right away.
The cost is definitely not cheap as you would expect in Vietnam (shirts were US$40, dresses US$110-US$125) maybe this is just not the right city for cheaper tailoring (unlike Hoi An and Hanoi)
We were disappointed with their flexibility - wanting my husband and I to come at different fitting times, which already cut down on our activities while in Nha Trang, and it took lots of insisting from us to book the same fitting time. They definitely were not willing to work around our schedule, but us around theirs. Weird as I thought we were the clients...
The quality of the work is great, however you do get your clothes back with lots of chalk lines in them, and on one of my shirts the blue chalk couldn't come out in dry cleaning, so that is now un-wearable.
The sizing was done by one of the owners (the pushy one, who kept telling my husband to buy more shirts and pants, not that the price would drop or anything) and sizing was done wrong. In my first fitting, I told them that the pants were too tight at my calves. They said they would let it out (good thing they do leave in quite a bit of extra material for cases like this), but they only did on one of the pants, not the other 2. The waist of the pants was too loose and not taken in as requested. I had to argue with her about how I liked some of my clothes, and am unhappy with a few items as she did not meet my requirements. One of the pants I had asked for 2-3 inches longer so I can wear them with heels (5-6cm longer) and they came in shorter than ground level as she didn't have enough material. Why did I pay US$50 for these?!?
My husband's clothing luckily fits well, but now that we are home I have had to take half of my clothes to a tailor to fix the sizing, costing me more money, on top of losing one top due to the chalk not coming off the material
Now that we are home we have tried to contact them to get more info on ordering men's shirts from them for my husband, and no response for 10 days now.
All in all, this place isn't bad if you have the time and flexibility for multiple fittings while in Nha Trang. However do not expect to get a good deal on pricing or communications from them in the future

I took one of my favourite dresses to this tailor with the plan of ordering 2. I liked the dress the lady was wearing so I ended up ordering 3 dresses on a Sunday. There is so much material to choose from and the staff dont rush you in your decision. They were ready for me to be fitted on the following Tuesday. When I went to be fitted the lady offered me another great price if I ordered 2 more. Of course I did and these were ready in 48 hours and delivered to my hotel. Great service and quality.

I was a little worried about getting work done by this tailor given a couple of the negative reviews on this site. Therefore, the first thing I did was get a dress copied for my daughter as a test. The silk fabric was wonderful and it turned out very well. I then decided to get a couple of summer tops copied and to ensure the correct fit I was measured to make sure they got it right. The result was fantastic, all 3 were a perfect fit. I then had the courage to get a dress coat copied and again the result was excellent. I enjoyed the experience and the service was great, perhaps better than a lot of the work I have had done in Hoi An over the years. The cost is not cheap but I felt I had gained some unique pieces. The best part was the service I had from Van so I want to give her a special mention. Her English was excellent, she had an eye for stye and had a sense of humour.

Ordered 2 dresses Sunday 3pm . Measured there , left a dress I loved for them to copy . Monday 4pm everything delivered to hotel (20 min out of town) I didn't need 1 alteration . Fitted 'perfect'
Absolutely delighted with beautiful quality silk , sewing and size . No complaints .

The clothes don't fit. The loud, argumentive tailor was not only confrontational, but had the nerve to to make us wait while on the phone, dismissive. 3 million for 2 pairs of pants, not cheap. I regret the visit .

Were told to return tomorrow if we wanted to be measured up. It was only 5pm in the arvo and the lady just could not be bothered to serve us. Oh well your loss I must say !!!!
