Had an enjoyable morning walking around the island, the locals were all very friendly and our group had a lot of fun here. We had a ride in a coracle (bamboo a set boat), not easy to get into but yet another experience!
Definitely worth a visit. We went snorkelling in the beautiful waters and stopped at the Mieu Floating Fishing Village on the way over in the boat where we bought a fish and sea urchins and they were fried fresh for us on the floating restaurant....More
went there with a few friends, took lots of pictures at each stop, fun and interesting lots of beach life. stopped at the end on a nice beach had a little bite to eat and a cold beer. there was also water sports

Take the ferry from harbour (signed TRI NGUYEN ) cost 5000 dong ( see my other posting as jeffery) interesting in as much as tourism has not changed this part of the island much , other part (reached by short walk, locals will point you)...More
