enjoy a nice view
Jul 2020
Perched some hundreds meters high on a mountain, visitors to this off the beaten track pagoda will enjoy a nice view of the green rice fields and orchards below. There is two pagodas with the first one reserved for nuns and the second higher one for abbots

Huge Buddha, it was cool! So much history! Lots of steps up! Take the tour and this will be on it. Very interesting!

Beautiful trip
Dec 2018 • Family
It is just off the main highway, through the rice fields. We did it in rainy season on motorbikes. Some of the roads were flooded but still accessible. Great fun! The pagoda is along a river with waterfalls at the top. A lovely view of them from the top, 600 steps, I counted. Easy to do! The views are beautiful, pagoda beautiful and I recommend the effort. The only negative for me is at the top of the walk is a lot of rubbish. It does not ruin it but come on Vietnam. Clean up! This is a natural forest - don’t dump rubbish.

beautiful temple
Apr 2018 • Friends
it is a bit out of the city about 7km. if is off the beaten path. you need to climb 150 plus steps to get to the top which is really for the fit and healthy. you pass alot of greenery and you will enjoy the nature and the beauty of this place. at the top you will see this beautiful monastery and the surroundings. worth the visit.

Best place in Nha Trang
Dec 2017 • Couples
This is a quiet sweet little place with amazing view and friendly people. Even though it’s a bit far, the ride is through a lovely rural area

Interesting place
Jan 2017 • Couples
The most interesting trip in Nha Trang. W went there by bike. The spot is only 10 km from the city, but It want easy to find it. Finally we did it. To enjoy the monastery we climbed up the top of the hill. It's about 600 m, but wasn't easy. On the way to the top you can see the houses where monarchs live. They all are very kind but unfortunately cannot tell you much about the history of the place.
The place is really worth seeing because of the atmosphere, beauty of the nature. To reach the place we went through rice fields. To reach the top we went through the would nature.

Peaceful temple with great views
Jun 2016 • Couples
This peaceful pagoda is only a few kilometres away from the hustle and bustle of Nha Trang. It is off the beaten track and not really advertised as a tourist sight, but go there, climb the 200 or so steps to the top and you will not be disappointed with the temple or the views.

Great find! Amazing view from top of the mountain
Oct 2016 • Family
Most people would just stop at the lowest level temple because it's pretty high on the mountain already but if you can trek all the way to the fairy well (600m or around 3000 steps), you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view and the tranquility of a very secluded temple.

Great Temple

Don't miss this temple. It's out of the way but worth the trip. Just hire a car and have them take you there. They will wait while you explore.

A nice hike
Jun 2016 • Couples
The pagoda stairs climb up through the jungle with a section covered with mango trees. It is a moderate clumb and not something for anyone with health issues.

We enjoyed the buddhas, gates and prqyer altars. In fact we arrived catching the resident mobks at the end of their morning chants with gongs ringing. The site offers a great view of the adjacent valley/rice fields.

For me it was a nice stop but with sad distractors. The stairs, temple and nearby waterfalls were littered with trash. Something we had not experienced at other rural sites.

An interesting side note is that the reaident monks appeared to be all women.
