One of the best corals one can find
Jul 2020
Amazing island with beautiful untouched coral reef. We went out on a beautiful sunny day and saw some amazing sea creatures. Would so go back there again :)

Don’t go here.
Dec 2019 • Couples
Boat after boat is loading off visitors to this island. The guide promises corals reefs. In deed there are corals reefs, very sad ones. Some lost fish lurking around and the whole experience feels utterly sad. I’m not recommending this island. Let the reeves rest.

Day tour
Dec 2019
Visit this island by joining a tour group booked thru Klook service. Nice beach with a small amount of entrance fee, free to use the sun bathing seat. A lot of on-water and underwater activities to join.

A million Chinese people taking photos
Nov 2019 • Couples
We was seriously disappointed with our trip here, we had heard it was a very romantic island, it couldn’t be any further for from that! The beach is jam packed with Chinese tourists who are famously rude. If you don’t mind creepy Chinese men taking photos of you in your bikini without even saying a word to you then you’ll probably be alright, other than that, don’t bother. Such a shame because I’m sure without them the place would be quite nice.
The water looked quite clear and is apparently good for snorkelling but we didn’t want to get in the water with all the creepy weirdos about.
There are signs everywhere about conservation for the sea life yet the island is covered in plastic and other rubbish at the hands of the Chinese tourists again.

The only good thing was climbing the black rocks, it was the only way to get away from the crowds and was quite fun.

Thje island where most of the scuba diving is done.
Sep 2019
This is a big island where almost all scuba diving activities are conducted. Snorkelling activities are also conducted in the shallow waters around the island, these places are suaully cordoned off. Unfortunately for scuba divers, some of the sites are still traversed by fast motorboats that do not seem to understand the dive flag, and posed dangers to surfacing divers.

Great place for Swimming & Scuba-diving
Sep 2019
It is the furthest island from Nha Trang city. We hired a private boat to get there from the pier, took around 1 hour. The journey is not very comfortable as well. Suggested to hire a speed boat instead.

Got an admission fee. Great if you love swimming or scuba-diving as there is nothing else to do on the island. Water is really clear, can easily observe the coral, sea creatures & colourful fishes.

However, no restaurants to eat there, only little stall for some snacks & drinks. But the stall already closed at 2pm, nobody there afterwards. And even using the bench by the beach, water for shower you need to pay for that.

Beautiful and unique beach
Mar 2019
Hon Mun is located in Nha Trang province, specifically, it is located in the southeast of Bong Nguyen Island. From Cau Da port, you just have to go 10km to get to Hon Mun. Hon Mun's name comes from the black ebony color of the rocks jutting out in the caves here. Hon Mun is one of the most famous islands in Nha Trang with clear blue water, breathtakingly beautiful nature, dreamy and airy scenery, this island will wash away all of your tiredness.
Hon Mun is surrounded by a vast ocean extremely beautiful, viewed from above, the beautiful and harmonious scenery between the blue of waves and the green of trees will surprise you. In addition, the island's geographic location is also associated with the hot ocean currents pushed from the equator, so the seabed possesses a variety of rich corals with fancy shapes. This is also an attractive place for oceanographers to study and explore the ocean floor.
To talk about marine life in Hon Mun, the word "rich" would probably be the best word to describe it because there are 340 out of 800 hard corals in the world. The number of corals here is so abundant that it can be compared to the coral diversity center of the Indo-Pacific region
In addition, the stone caves here are also annual nesting places for canaries and many other creatures. Therefore, when you come here, you can swim, watch the fresh water and you can also participate in activities such as scuba diving, travelling on glass bottom boat to admire the extremely diverse and colorful marine life see the fairy beauty that nature has bestowed on this island.

Interesting recreational activities
1. Diving
With such a diverse and precious marine ecosystem, it is no strange that Hon Mun becomes a famous and ideal diving spot among all islands across the country. You will feel extremely excited when you are immersed in the clear, cool blue water and only need to a depth of about 10m, the aquarium will appear enchanting before your eyes.
2. Wedding on the seabed
Currently, Hon Mun has provided a very unique undersea wedding service, couples coming here to get married will enjoy the most beautiful moments of life right on the fanciful and sparkling ocean floor.
3. Parachute
In addition to scuba diving, skydiving also brings an equally refreshing feeling. However, skydiving is only for anyone who is adventurous. You will be able to see the scenery from above and feel the feeling of being suspended in the air.

Crystal clear sea water 🏝
Jul 2019 • Family
We reached Hon Mun Island in on a day with little sunlight and rain. Luckily that the rain, which was on and off, did not let us down any at all cause we enjoyed the beach activities a lot. The water is CRYSTAL CLEAR when you even can see the bottom of the sea with naked eyes!! That impressed us a lot. Anyways, the facilities of the restroom or bathroom is very poor without any shower. I am confused a bit because it has not had electricity yet on this touristy island. The local people sold the freshwater for the tourist. You have to buy a bucket of water with 10.000 VND for each turn of bathing. This is not a big amount, however, it’s not convenient at all for the tourist, who want to have a wash.

Island marked with Scuba Diving in Nha Trang.
Jun 2018 • Friends
Part of four island tour in Nha Trang, this island is specially famous for ongoing scuba diving activities in Nha Trang, though, activity as such is not highly recommended not even for first timers. Corals are not rich, they are dying and instructors are not even taking their part in responsible tourism.
