This was a surprisingly easy cycle as basically the roads were flat around the city and in good condition. The streets were very crowded with vehicles of various sorts and road rules weren't always a priority for some. That said, it was good to right in the thick of things and see many sights that Nha Trang had to offer. Good information was provided. It was a very hot activity but that was expected anyway so plenty of water is needed.

We recently had the pleasure of doing the above tour with our tour guide, Captain Thao. Captain was brilliant, very friendly and knowledgeable and passionate about Nha Trang and its countryside. The bike ride was a comfortably paced 25km ride from our hotel at Nha Trang beach and through fishing villages along the coast followed by a trek to the Ba Ho waterfalls which was a little harder than anticipated due to the rain that came with the recent typhoon but was well worth the effort. A thoroughly enjoyable day which we highly recommend.

Went on Vietnam Bike Tours--Nha Trang Branch’s half-day bike tour to Bo Ho Waterfalls on January 2, 2015. The tour company offers various biking tours, but I selected this tour because I wanted to cycle near the coastline and avoid the sites within Nha Trang central (as the traffic is really hectic in the city and I didn’t feel comfortable biking as buses, cars and motorcycles whiz in various directions).

The trip was first rate, and so is the company. Vietnam Bike Tours is not a happy-go-lucky company that has a few bikes and claims to be a proficient bike tour company. Quite the contrary! The company is very professional, with (i) good quality/sturdy mountain bikes in good condition (e.g., no rusty frames, multi-gears that function, and good twin breaking system), (ii) various size bike frames (small to large), (iii) various size bike helmets (small to extra large), and (iv) a support van that shadows the group in the event someone gets tired or a problem arises.

Vietnam Bike Tours provided three persons to ensure that all went well for our group (of only two persons!): a driver for the support van, a tour coordinator, and a bike leader. I especially liked how the tour coordinator (Ms. Chung) took pictures of us throughout the tour and subsequently mailed copies to us free of charge. A really nice touch and great way to preserve fond memories of the day (as taking pictures by ourselves while cycling could be a disaster in the making).

Ms. Chung and our bike leader (Mr. Tin) were extremely nice and friendly, and cared for our safety throughout. They were also flexible in the sequence of what we saw. A great experience and would recommend this tour to anyone interested in taking a break from the beach and shedding some pounds.

Travel Tip -- I booked my tour directly with the company and received a 10% discount off the list price since I didn’t go through a third-party booking company.

We were a 5-people group on the Ba Ho waterfalls bike trip. One amazing thing about Vietnam Bike Tours was the speed by which they responded to my emails -- usually within a few hours -- from quotations to queries to booking, paying deposit etc. We paid 30% (plus 3% processing fee) via paypal for the deposit (43 USD per person for 3-5 people group). One Hong Kong girl joined us on the day. They picked us up and dropped us off at our hostel, so that was convenient. Tour guide Tom was friendly and his English was good and easily understood by my Taiwanese friends. We cycled 12 km along the coast of Nha Trang with a coffee break in between, reached a village where we had a delicious home-cooked lunch and rambutans, followed by 20 min of trekking to the waterfall. Rocks at the waterfall may be hard to climb for some though. We cliff-jumped at the waterfall and took a dip there. (bring swimsuits if you can, there's a changing station at the village). They served us sugarcane juice when we returned to the office the same way we came by. Throughout the trip Tom helped us take photos and promised to send us. Overall a good getaway from the touristy Nha Trang to the quieter countryside close to nature. The price might be a little expensive, but I think given all the services thrown in it's worth it.

Booked the bike tour to visit the countryside and waterfall just one day in advance with prompt email replies from the brand manger Xuyen who is very helpful!
6 people only in total which is good! Cycling along the beach and uphill for a bit, do some hiking to the waterfall which is the most interesting part for me! Can either jump or swim there:)
Great appreciation for the tour guide Tom who is super friendly and caring for everyone, especially I felt sick that day. And the other staff is also cheerful and helpful!
Worth the price! Hopefully can join another more advanced trip next time and do more hiking in the city!!!!

So was a great guide taking us on a whirl wind tour thru busy streets, need to be aware of busy motorbike flow and quiet pathways via cafe for great coffee then into surrounding countryside, authentic Vietnamese lunch and to mud baths and along waterfront back to office . We recommend this tour company but go early as gets hot and mud baths optional.
Thanks So, was great getting to know a local and explore your town.

Can't say enough good things about my day spent biking around Nha Trang with my tour guide from Vietnam Bike Tours. It was easy, at all times I felt safe and well informed, and we explored alleyways and country byways that I doubt many tourists ever explore. We visited the White Buddha and went to the mud baths. Lunch was provided at a provincial and rustic restaurant - can't get anymore authentic! Next time I come to Vietnam, I will be an enthusiastic repeat customer on a longer ride.

We basically stumbled into Vietnam bike tours whilst out walking around Nha Trang. This accidental find turned into one of our best experiences whilst in Vietnam, our tour guide Tran was fantastic taking the 4 of us on a beautiful coastal ride with panoramic views in all directions including coffee stops, photos shoots, fish markets and a good hit out on the bikes. We met up with a young American couple on their honey moon and they joined us for the rest of the trip. I thought the first part of the day was great until we then visited an out of way rocky creek bed river leading to fantastic water falls and rock pools, it was definitely worth the climb to the rock pools and if your not scared of heights you can climb to the top and jump ( Yes I did) after that it was back down to the pick up point where our driver had prepared a beautiful fresh cooked lunch.
Overall an excellent day

We did the Heaven Pass tour at the recommendation of the owner of Vietnam Bike Tours and we weren't disappointed.

Our driver (Mr Khan) and our tour guide (So) took us through the countryside and up the mountain in the bus and from there we cycled back down, There are amazing views and we had a great time. Once we were back down we cycled into a local village where we had a swim while Mr Khan prepared us a very tasty lunch. So was a great tour guide and also good fun and we learnt alot about the local people.

We had a really great day and it was so nice to see life outside of busy Nha Trang and see the true Vietnam. On our return we would definitely take another tour with these guys,. I would definitely recommend them.
