You have to get to the rock to get a nice view overlooking the sea. Nice place to visit as you can see the NahTrang long beach from another end.

The location is too over crowd, it's an magnet for travel touroperator dump tourist and call it an activity day.
Year ago, I'm for one was so intrigued by the significant stories behind the location.
Well come with progress, something have to give.

with parents will be better to go :)
Nice view
nice atmosphere
nice cofee
If the weather is not too hot it will be fine

It was windy when we arrived in late afternoon and was very crowded with Chinese tourists. Was having difficulty to take good shots of the rocks by the bay as the view was constantly blocked by tourists one after another.
All the sitting places by the entrance at the cafe/restaurants were all taken up by Chinese tourists. Not much luck for a quiet afternoon visit this time.

It seems every tour of the area will include this as there’s really not much to see. Our private guide also took us here. It was packed with big noisy Chinese groups and also many Russians. We just caught the very end of a demonstration of traditional Vietnamese music and instruments. They could make so much more of this as we’d have loved to understand the history etc of the instruments but they all walked off. There’s a viewing platform to rocks where you will see dozens of Chinese tourists doing selfies surrounded by very polluted and smelly water. As always people were constantly trying to sell things to you.

I had a trip to Hon Chong Island last June and had extremely good experiences with this beautiful poetic tourist destination. Here are some of my travel experiences, hopefully it will help first-time people come here:
1. Location: Hon Chong Resort is located in Vinh Phuoc Ward, Nha Trang City, Khanh Hoa Province.
2. Transportation: From the city center of Nha Trang, you only need a 15-minute motorbike ride to reach the beach, or if you go with your family or group, you can rent a taxi or reserve a private car through several booking websites. I went with my family so we booked a taxi before going to Nha Trang because I'm afraid of being riped off, luckily the driver arrived on time and our journey was very good.
3. Scenery:
Hon Chong is a complex of large rocks with all kinds of shapes and overlapping runs from the high bank to the sea. Those rocks lie naturally on each other and even after thousands of years it couldn't be knocked over by waves and rain.
And don't forget to visit Five fingers rock. This is a strange rock with a giant 5-finger dent, there are many legends about the origin of this dent and the most famous is about husband and wife, perhaps because of that, the island was named Hon Chong.
Activities: Almost separate from the bustling space of the street, this tourist destination is also one of the most beautiful places to see the coastal city. Arriving here, you can step out into the vast sea.
The cliffs are very beautiful so you can have some great photos with the nature here.
This is also a wonderful place for wedding photography.
After sightseeing, you can sit and drink coffee at the many cafes nearby.

Visited here last year in September.it is a headland or promotory located beside the beach, once bought ticket, you can go to the restaurant first, there is a vietnamese harp (like Chinese Gu zheng)performanca(not sure regularly or not),that time the female performancer play a cantonese pop song, very nice.after this, you can go to Hon Chong(down hill), be careful, the road not flat, and along the way,you can see big rocks.dont forget to find five fingers. It is said that a giant fish has embedded his palm in the rock with five fingers on the large rock located on the top edge of Hon Chong, but it is hard to find, that time i followed a tour group to get it.sometimes crowded here, and the place is quite dangerous,so be careful, there are security around, follow their instruction.dont stand too close at the edge of the rock, you may fall down.
