The first ever Tourist Information Center, located 33 Vo Thi Sau St., In Hue city opened on 23rd July 2010 run by A Travel Mate. It welcomes about 200 travelers per day, providing them with free maps, free travel brochures, free travel consultancy from our helpful experienced advisors and other travel services such as: hotels booking, flights booking, train & bus tickets, bike-motorbike & car rental, booking day trips, long trips & all cruise packages in Vietnam, Laos & Cambodia.

My mom and I did a full day Hue City Tour with Long as our guide and we were very satisfied and happy with the tour. Morning pick up was on time and the air conditioned van was a perfect respite throughout the day from the heat. We hit first the morning market, which Long explained to us the routines of people and also the various fruits, and items (gold Buddha statues and faux money) used as offerings for prayer. From there we proceeded to the pagoda, visited the monastery in the back, and Long explained to us the routines of the monks. Followed by a dragon boat ride down the Perfume river and then onto the Imperial City. Long was not just an knowledgeable guide but our photographer for the day, knowing the rights spots for fantastic photos and skillfully took our photos to make it look like we were the only ones there! Also I must mention his English is very fluent, so no issues for us to understanding anything and for him answering any questions posed to him. The lunch the tour took us to was very good and at an upscale restaurant with many dishes - fish, tofu, chicken, soup, vegetables, and fruits. We hit two of the three tombs on this tour, which were spectacular. One tomb has the mosaics and was grand in its splendor. The tour was of excellent value, including all the entrances to the attractions, the transportation and the boat ride, and a very good sit down lunch at an upscale restaurant. You get your money’s worth and the convenience of transportation, with a skilled guide. Definitely don’t hesitate to take the full day Hue City Tour with Long as your guide!

Absolutely loved this tour and thought it was excellent value for money. We usually steer away from guided tours because we don't like feeling rushed and would rather be flexible but when we arrived in Hue and googled the locations for everything, the thought of organising taxis became overwhelming and we even thought about forgoing the tombs. We looked up this tour and thought it might be worth it because it went everywhere we wanted in one day and was the same price as we had budgeted for our own entry, lunch and transport. It was great having such a fun, knowledgeable (and patient) guide, Long, as we really got a good look at all these amazing sights that we may have otherwise brushed through without much information or understanding of what we were doing if we had done ourselves. We had enough time to take photos and soak it in. The group was small enough that I was intimate and the lunch was great! Hue fast turned from a city that I didn't think I'd like to one of my favourite destinations in Vietnam!

This is a whole day tour but we were able to split it over 2 days, the morning one day with Nhi our guide, visiting a pagoda by boat then the market and the old Citadel, finishing with lunch. Great morning, Nhi was very good, and we were glad of the rest in the afternoon. Next day we joined again after lunch with Xi, going to the tombs, and this was my favourite bit, Xi was very knowledgable about the history of the kings and really helpful. Would recommend this tour to anyone, if you have time split it over two days and just float about the rest of the time.

Long pick us up at our hotel in central Hue and we started our tour. First off to Pagoda Long explain all the history of Buddhism and about the Monks that lived here. Such a gorgeous place to visit. We then took dragon boat to
Imperial Palace. We spent about an hour there. Again Long explained everything so well. Then a quick visit to Dong ba market. Very busy local market. Great to see how the locals buy their daily food. Then last stop antiques museum. This was again amazing. So many antiquities from the emperor. I highly recommend doing these tours as you get so much more information from the guide and it makes it so worthwhile.

This is a somewhat belated review of a tour I took several months ago but I still remember how good of a tour guide Mr Hoa was and it is only fair to give me a good review. Very fluent in English, great communication skills, very knowledgeable, outgoing and humorous - all you need to have a great day. My only recommendation would be to choose another restaurant for lunch as the one we went to last time was not that great - food was really average. But other than that we had a great day overall (despite the rain)!

Best day in Hoi An!
We were picked up at 8.30 in the morning and back again 1.30pm.
We went on a 40km bike cycling trip around Hoi An. We drove through the local villages, could stop to take photos and visited a family who make noodles and a war veteran.
Thanh our guide was very good and knew a lot about the area and the speed of the tour was for everybody.
We had a 67year old and 64 year old on the trip. They could finish the whole trip without any problems.
This is definitely a tour I will recommend.

Hoang (our guide today) was great today! He let us know the night before what time he was picking us up to make sure we had time for breakfast. He was very funny and also very informative. Even with having to battle it out in the rain, he made sure we had a great day.

Easy going way of seeing all of the historical sites around Hue. Sit in the comfort of an air conditioned van. Danny did a great job at giving us all the information in regards to the different sites we visited.

We went out with Fi on a dragon boat on the Parfum River.
She explained it to us expertly and was certainly an added value to our trip!
We also had our daughter who was almost 2 years old and she was very friendly with her and kept her busy.
If we had had more time we would definitely have asked her for other tours.
