Beautiful pillow covers for a good cause. Also made from recycled materials. Whatever you buy you will be reminded of the children you helped and the goodness in people around the world. It is shop like these that bring people together and make you realize we are human and global citizens.

The shop sells souvenirs that are made from recycled material by disabled people with the proceeds going to help low income people get heart surgery.

The souvenirs themselves are quite good regardless of the good cause.

Prices are fixed so please don't try to bargain given it's a charitable institution.

Tastefully hand made crafts, high quality. They were amazing and very kind. You can buy gifts made from recycled materials, helping the environment and disable people. Beautiful store and people.

There's so much need in Vietnam and so little support. This shop funds deaf artisans and provides heart surgery for those who could not otherwise afford it. If you need a nice bag or little things to take home, you might find it here.

This little shop is a real find. The minute we walked in, a server gave us each a free cup of cold sweet tea for us to drink as we browsed.

They make wonderful things out of recycled materials - bowls out of wire and tin cans, necklaces out of old telephone wire, stylish handbags out of rubber! I could have bought everything, but we settled on a gorgeous little fold-out picnic set made from fabric, which has two napkins, a knife, a bottle-opener and mini-chopping board (only $16!), a colourful wire bowl ($12), and a necklace ($5). They also had little decorations, table-runners, place mats, cushion covers, bags, and many other unique things.

Both people who served us were deaf and, thanks to the Vietnamese sign language guide on the wall, we were able to say thank you and goodbye to them.

This is such a worthy cause as they support heart surgeries for local children, and the products aren't tat like you'd find at most night markets. Perfect place to spend your tourist dollars, and you know you're contributing to something worthwhile.

Healing the Wounded Heart is a shop that sells handmade items (e.g. bags, jewellery, platters) from recycled materials. Highly recommended for purchasing gifts when travelling abroad.
We were welcomed by a group of deaf staff who enthusiastically sat us on the verandah tea-room with a refreshment. While we drank, we listened to an explanation of the purpose of Healing the Wounded Heart - to provide deaf and mute people with meaningful skills and employment while supporting those children or major carers in need of heart surgery. Each of us was made a ring from old telephone wire.
After making our purchases, the staff were keen to have a photo with you if you purchased one of their handmade items.
This initiative has the perfect balance and an extraordinary message.
