If you have any appreciation at all for handcrafts, do not miss this gem. Free to visit, the only downside of this museum/workshop/gallery is that these artworks (which can take several women months, if not years, to complete) aren't better displayed and curated.
Although we spent less than an hour here, this was an absolute highlight for me of our visit to Hue. Magical.

This free museum on Lo Lei Street near the Trang Tien Bridge is not to be missed. The embroidery work that you will see is absolutely stunning in its detail. I'm not sure if the girls are always there embroidering but it was fun to watch them at work.

It’s a tranquil little place set in the middle of the hustle and bustle.

Gaze at the beautiful embroidery, whilst traditional music flows in the background.

I even stopped by twice, and would definitely recommend a visit.

What a wonderful find among the hustle and bustle of Hue. The embroidery is exquisite and the museum itself is calm and serene showcasing the history and beautifully creative artworks. This should be on top of your list of things to do in Hue.

This is a quirky little gallery along the river walk opposite the citadel and entry is free so do yourself a favour and stop in for a few minutes. The artwork is intricate, delicate and colourful. Amazing the fine work that these artists produce. I especially loved the 3D silk stitching. My husband enjoyed it and he's in no way into embroidery, but could appreciate the work that goes into it.

This is a must do in Hue. It wasn’t in our guide or any list of attractions. We simply stumbled in.

This is ONE OF YHE MOST IMPRESSIVE museums I’ve ever seen. Time well spent.

No stars. This this museum has been demolished. It doesn't seem like they relocated either. I'm so disappointed. 😔😔😔

This building is under renovation but the girl there was just too willing to show us around and explain about the museum, the embroiders and the workers renovating the place. However it was still worth a quick visit and some of the embroidery was truly amazing, AND the prices were expensive too.

We strolled through the various stations watching the women produce the embroideries and seeing the displays. I bought a piece that showcased the pagoda, and it was very reasonable (without frame) to bring as a memento

the most amazing display of fine needle work and the attention to detail as we watched a lady doing the work upside down. A large assortment of beautiful silk material to buy very cheaply
