We were lucky, we were received by a Benedictine during our visit and he showed us the 2 prayer rooms. With all comments (translated by our guide). Very nice, quiet and relaxing place. We were given bottles of water. Thank you to this person who took the time to show us around.

Active monastery with a striking tower next to its church. Not really anything else to look at here. Church was always closed the three times I have been here. Located in a green, shady area, it's a good place to take a rest and cool down.

We visited this monastery as part of our scooter tour. The lunch was delicious. Each course was vegetarian, subtle of flavour and very filling. A sleep was needed afterwards. They will open the pagoda for you to take a look, only no photographs inside. Set in very peaceful surroundings. Because it's a bit out of town it doesn't have the hordes of tourists or associated traffic. Well worth a visit.

Yes I just love it here ❤️ I can really calm myself and be myself. It’s just myself with God. I’d want to come here everyday.

My wife and I will be visiting Vietnam in February 2020.
We would like ti visit the Abbey if possible.
Please advise best way to get there from Hue. What would transport cost? Is travel outside Hue safe for Australian visitors?
Hope to hear from you soon.
Regards, Mike
