Great atmosphere and interior

This is a really cool place to discover when you haven't heard of it before. Just walking through the door is an experience in itself. The decoration is reminiscent of the American 20s. The furniture is partly vintage. The staff is very friendly. A cool place to hangout with friends, or better, surprise a date by bringing taking them here!

Amazing vibe and drinks

The speakeasy has this ‘Gatsby’ vibe to it. Dark corners with flannel couches, romantic I would say. The drinks are around 200.000d and good. The building it is in...it a bit sketchy...but it wouldnt be a speakeasy if you could find it easily. I would really recommend this place above any skybar.

Cool Speakeasy Bar

Had my best last night in Saigon with this bar. I came here alone and the hospitality really great. Bartender and staff so attentive and knowledgeable. Great ambiance along with music from Dj. Would come back again!

Bad bad service

Great cocktails. Great venue. Terrible service. We went here on a recommendation online. Drinks are punchy and deliscious (if not a little pricey). Prices exclude 10% VAT and 5% service charge. The service was abysmal. Staff hadn't a clue. A 'hostess' wandered around aimlessly. It took ages for our drinks to be made and served. We asked for the bill and 15 mins later had to ask again saying we needed it quickly please. It still took another 10 minutes. The staff have clearly had no training and are aimless. Charging 5% Service is ridiculous. They shouldn't do table service if they can't do it properly as it threatens the reputation of what could be an excellent bar. Also the vibe when we were there was awful. Someone upstairs was spilling drinks on guy below (twice) and the atmosphere felt volatile and uneasy. The staff didn't know what to do. Drinks 4 out out of 5. Service / ambience 1 out of 5 (in fact I refused to pay the 5% service on our bill). I felt bad but I'm not getting ripped off and setting a precedent for others to be ripped off to. I will.happily pay service where it's deserved bit im not paying for terrible service.

To improve - music too loud.

Place in an old building, felt a bit weird to enter. Cool inside, however the music for me was a bit too loud to be a chill bar. The music was good however but ruin a bit the possibility to chill and talk to my girlfriend.
Drinks were really good, and at a very reasonable price.
I wish they can improved base on my requests.

rude incompetent service, complained our table was too noisy

This bar has the most rude and pretentious service I've experienced in Saigon.
They seem to have misunderstood the concept of a Speakeasy, quiet outside, lively and relaxed inside. Instead the waitress told our table to keep the noise down for laughing too loudly, as the DJ setting up with excellent comic timing blasted ear splitting static through the sound-system, then we could barely hear each other speak let alone laugh.

Don't come here if you want to have a laugh with friends.

To make matters worse the staff were clueless about their menu, they didn't honour promos advertised on their website, and gave us incorrect info, finally on leaving they were confused when I explained 2-4-1 and buy 1 get 1 mean the same thing.

Truly bizarre and awful experience, which is a real shame as the location and building is cool, but if you go there pick one of the other more relaxed bars.

Hard To Find, Even Harder To Forget

If you're an expat living in Sai Gon and you want to prove your street smarts or street 'cred', then this is the place to take your friends. Located in a very hard to find, nondescript building, one must ascend some neglected, almost dubious, dark stairs and look for a 'sign' before entering into a sublime time warp. One that effortlessly transports you back to the days of Prohibition, Al Capone and the Speakeasy bars. Fantastic decor, dark, opaque and obscure interior, great drinks (expensive by HCMC standards) but nonetheless a bar every visitor should endeavour to seek out, if only so you can say I've been there. It's almost like being in Chicago in the thirties - just loved it. Take up the challenge and try to find it. You will be rewarded !

Great for Date Night

From the very beginning of stepping into this trend setting lounge you will be amazed. The decor is absolutely amazing, trendy, yet unpretentious. It has a real "speak easy" kind of vibe, from the semi hidden door, to the staff's attire, and excellent cocktails. Don't come here for a beer, try out their cocktails. This is a perfect place for a date night where you can sit and talk but still very entertaining in a group.

Simply amazing

Honestly, I can’t rate this place highly enough. The drinks are amazing. The experience is wonderful. And the bartenders are true professionals who are as friendly as your longest friend. If you go to one bar in Saigon, make it this one!

Dark and loud but excellent cocktails

Pretty hard place to find in a dingy building up the stairs. I really enjoyed the prohibition era theme and the design of the bar. However, the music is way too loud and it is way too dark. I had to use my phone flashlight to view the menu and I doubt I’m the only one who has had to.

The drink I ordered was excellent though. Staff is respectful and polite.
