We had experienced Hop on Hop Off tours in other countries, but with AnhViet we are so disappointed.
We are listening both in our earphones and the open sound system of the bus with different description of different places in one time - so confusing!!!
The bus supposedly arrives/leaves a point every 30 mins, but we waited more than an hour at the War Museum but to no avail. We hailed a taxi then to our next deatination in dismay.
Everytime we ride or disembark, they have to check our ticket and in some instances, they seemed to question if its really a 24Hour ticket we are holding. Are they Confused???
Lastly, the bus is dirty. There are scattered mops and pails at the back seats 😥😳
So so so disappointing 😪😪😪

Not your usual hop on hop off bus experience. Keep expectations low. Hard to find the stop near the market, had to ask many people. We were the only ones on the bus. Some audiojacks didn't work but since we were the only ones we just moved around the bus until found one that worked. We were hot and tired and just wanted to be driven around for a while so this suited our needs just fine. Did the loop once and it was the last bus of the day (5:30pm ish) and our driver was friendly and was heading back to the base and dropped us off at Saigon Skydeck, which was really nice of him.

This was worth the cost of a ticket. It was raining and we were provided with plastic rain coats which we could keep, and a bamboo hat to use duing our tour. The audio was clear, but, because there were some detours, it didn't always coincide with the street and attractions: however, it was interesting and informative. We were a little confused at one of the stops, and the young woman guide got off the bus and gave us directions. Excellent driver

They offer this great chat feature they entirely ignore. We saw the bus and it looked interesting, so we bought tickets. I wish we'd read reviews first. We purchased the 24 hour pass, but upon further inspection, the hours are between 5pm and 10pm. This seemed wrong, so I chatted and emailed them, never receiving a response. Then, Ho Chi Minh started to close some non-essential businesses due to a COVID risk, several of our other tours got cancelled, so we hit them up if it's available tomorrow... No response. I'm just glad it wasn't very expensive, but companies who are this irresponsible, who take your money and feel no obligation to manage expectations are irritating to me.

Thank you for your opinion. Since the covid epidemic from March 2020 to now due to the closure of most attractions, we try to serve visitors with a 1-round tour of Ho Chi Minh City.
Headphones are optional and we leave them at the check-in counter. Guests can choose by themselves.
Our company is the only unit in Vietnam that operates every day from 9:00 to 24:00

Starting from the moment we bought the tickets; we went to the office and I gave them a 500.000 dong bill, they gave me just. 70.000 dongs for change, I told them I was missing 100.000 and they told me I was a liar and even though I told them, they couldn’t care less and just rob me.
After hopping on the bus, the audio was horrific, not synchronized at all, there was the option for Spanish and it didn’t even work. The driver was rude
It’s just worthless, please don’t spend your money on this.
Hanoi hop on hop off was amazing, this is just TRASH.

The bus personell all very lazy. They charge the entry fee and than stop the bus for 30 and more minutes to have a lunch break. The narrator audio very hard to understand. A lots of cracking and other noises. And all HoHo busses are of the same mediocre service level... no matter which company. Clearly run by government. Better walk, its waste of time!

That's a good tour through Ho Chi Minh city. The bus goes through most of the important sights in this city. I recommnend you go around first, go through 9 stops and listen the basic information, then you can get off any stops you want to visit. And one more thing, if you have any problems, just call hotline. They will support you.
When I could not find any bus coming for a long time, I called the hotline. Then they sent a staff to guide me to the right bus stop. We were at the wrong bus stop that I didn't know about that. That is why we waited for a long time without any Hop On Hop Off buses passing. The staff is very friendly and useful. Great service!

We typically jump on one of these when visiting a new place, as they are a good way to see the city.
This one is fairly short - 75mins they say to do a circuit, which we did, Plenty to look at and we opted for the 4 hour ticket, as this is often enough to do hte full tour and get back to a place you want to explore, which we did.
At this time of year, it is around 40degrees centigrade, >100degrees FH. Bl**dy hot!
We opted to stay down stairs and be in the Aircon. The bus has the usual free wifi (I think) and bizarrely DVD's running whilst on the tour - not of the city, but we saw a good dose of Desierto, which had plenty of shoot em dead, kill em stuff going on, graphic head shots and a dog mauling someone to death..... Not the best for 10 and 13yo girls!
Still, I would recommend doing a round....

I have found my way around many cities by hopping on and off buses. I was a bit disappointed in this one as it was not open-topped so no great photo opportunities. However, it did visit all the main attractions and is a good way to get a feel for the city before exploring more on foot.

Every 30 mins throughout the day this is a great was to introduce yourself to Hanoi with its commentary in various languages.
Roads are very busy so the bus helps acclimatise you to the bustle of the city.

City tour Hop on Hopoff each 30 minutes per tour come and go! you would like to buy combo my driver or tour operator can booking for you instead you had to buy online easy!
we had bus stop -only unique my company had bus stop for tourists at each attraction places. this is convenient for tourist easy see and waiting Bus come pick up you!
you used tours very convenient and a lot of attraction valid 24h00 or 48 hours ! if you did not buy combo you can choose others! we buy online and at main office! but you din not come !
