Anther fares about true South Vietnamese History. Ho Chi Minh, was NEVER the president of South Vietnam, and in fact he died nearly three years before the North, backed by China and Soviet Union invaded the South, violating the Armistice and Paris Peace Accords.

See President HCM Statue at the Square. Take photo with the City Hall Government building in the background. Very large square.

There is nothing much to see except some huge posters from the past. Also the enternace ticket is very pricey.

Great area to explore around here. The statue is worth seeing and the square is great. Its a must see if you are in the area.

We visited during the Independance Day celebration so the square was very crowded and had tents built on it for their celebration. However, this is a landmark of the city that should not be missed, similar to Statue of Liberty in New York. At night...More

This is a very nice place to visit. You can walk the grounds, see into his home and shelter, view his cars and enjoy.

visited this area.building used to be wartime military base by americans/french .parking restrictions here so did not have much time here as we were travelling in a group by coach,nice picture spot.not allowed to go near this building.
