Where do I start?! This was such an amazing experience! Everything from day one, booking, flights, guide etc.. was on point. We never had any worries, if anything I barely looked at the itinerary because we kind of just wanted to live on a whim, and this exceeded our expectations. From day one our flights went smooth , the tour guide Phuong “which was an Angel “ picked us up with her driver at the airport and we started our journey. We also had them all to our selves due to the Corona flu scare. It was non stop and highly educational, Phuong was so thorough about everything! We did everything from museums, biking through rice paddy villages, hikes , Ha Long bay overnight trip with kayaking, there was just so much going on. We had great meals that were included and our hotel was wonderful in a great local area in the heart of everything. I could go on and on , but bottom Line we highly recommend this tour company and hopefully you’ll get Phuong too . ♥️ We have a new friend.

We booked a 4 week holiday with Tran for Laos and Vietnam. Tran was ALWAYS available for any questions whilst discussing the itinerary, he replied very very promptly to emails and he never said no to any request. During the trip, everything from our transfers, hotels, sightseeing, activities was organised like clockwork. Some minor hiccups (an old damp hotel or a slightly less enthusiastic guide) were sorted out IMMEDIATELY. Tran and his wife Ly understand the needs of travellers and they wish for one thing: that your holiday should be magical and wonderful. They will go out of their way to ensure this. I would recommend them for any holidays in south east Asia and I wish them all the luck and success. THANK YOU!

We've toured Vietnam and Cambodia 4 times, each trip led by Far East Travel. Lucas, the owner, understands today's traveller and goes to great lengths to ensure the trip is everything it says to be. Tour guides with Far East readily accommodated any requested deviation and addition to our itinerary. Far East is the only tour company we'd use for our next trip to Vietnam or Cambodia. They are simply the best.

I had a chance to join the show along with Far East Festival on last Saturday that leave unforgettable, emotional feeling in my mind. Extremely beyond my expectation. At first, cuz curious about the name of the show The Quintessence of Tonkin which is quite luxury and traditional somehow. In fact, i was surprised and impressed by what was performed there. Not only i immersed to the peaceful ambient created by natural music, but its like i was back once i was a kid, which all are the worthy in the busy life. As for foreigner tourist, i hope you guys can understand more about Vietnamese cultural features through this awesome show. however this show might be available in summer only i think 'cause almost performances were played in water. So dont miss the show if ya come visit this show due to upcoming winter in the the north. Here's some performances (for more details, lets enjoy yourself :D) scene 1: routine life of the youth: fishing, play, flirting between the girls and the boys scene 2: buddha appearance scene 3: puppet show scene 4: previous examination circumstance: student sit in small bamboo/straw cabin to make a test and the winner will be Trang Nguyen scene 5: the girls' performance with Tỳ Bà (pear-shaped four-stringed fretted lute) and ao dai. 1st time its like a imagine created by light but in fact its real women. then they play diff instrumental music. the screen shows beautiful picture called Đông Hồ Art that is traditional feature of Tonkin. dancer in lotus clothes practice grace posture scene 6: Mau Thoai legend scene 7: Lên Đồng is a ritual practiced in Vietnamese folk religion and the mother goddess religion Đạo Mẫu, in which followers become spirit mediums for various deities. scene 8: usual trade at village in the morning and farmer begin new day on their fields, harvest grapes. "ve" song. traditional game with real buffalo and a kids nice frame of vn village scene 9: lighting bicycle bring bamboo stuff. people bring stuff to catch eels, fishes from the stand down to the stage. scene 10: festival notice by a man. Singing "Cheo" - famous type of music in Bac Ninh like a conversation of women and men Bamboo dancing, Stilt walking after that to interact with guest final: sing "Nguoi o dung ve" (stay here, don't leave) song - kind of thanks from the artists Hope this info useful for everyone if they dont know what they should go, visit once coming The north of vietnam :D

We were back from 4 days Mekong Delta ( Ho Chi Minh -> An Giang -> Cai Be -> Ho Chi Minh ). I would like to say thanks for a well organized tour. The guide we had was friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. This is the perfect way to dive deep into rural Vietnam. We were experienced with sampan boat, the local floating market, making traditional rice paper, coconut candy ... It was amazing. Highly recommended to do this tour. We will back in the next time. Thanks Far East Travel Team again.
