Seeing Saigon at night, in the back of a 60's era jeep was fantastic. Excellent sidewalk foods, drinks, desserts and views made this one of our highlites on this 5 week trip. Our guide, Hei, was fantastic and provided excellent service, information and a very fun evening. We highly recommend this outing, and ask for Hei.

This private tour in an open air military Jeep turned out to be exciting and a unique way of seeing Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon at night. Our guide Rohan taught us a lot of interesting history about the city as the driver navigated the wild streets of the city. My wife and I sat on the back bench seat which is a bit snug but it was fine. There is a cooler full of water, soda, and beer in the Jeep.
We liked being driven across the river where a lot of the young Vietnamese go to hang out and look back at the tall colorful lit buildings of the city. Our favorite street we drove down was “Backpackers Street”, or Bui Vien Street which is a few blocks of colorful,loud, wild area lined with spas, and bars, with bar girls beckoning those passing by.
After many more stops and sights the evening ended with an included cocktail up top of the famous REX Hotel Rooftop Garden Bar and listened to the hotel combo play music for a short while. We also appreciated that we were pickup and dropped off to our hotel. This tour gave us more memorable experiences here in Ho Chi Minh City!

Just returned to our hotel after an excellent morning with our guide Nancy and driver Eric. Nancy’s knowledge of HCMC and Vietnamese history is fantastic, her stories are excellent and make the tour even more engaging.
First stop was the cathedral and post office - the French architecture is beautiful and has been well preserved. Next up was the palace, with an extremely detailed tour of the grounds and the palace itself - having Nancy with us throughout the palace was excellent as she added another level to our experience. Second last on our tour was Minh Phuong arts/handicrafts where we watched artists create masterpieces with lacquer. Finally we visited the war remnants museum, we had about an hour to walk around and see the displays inside. The agent orange display was particularly moving.
We had 3 travelers and fitted comfortably in the Jeep. Left our hotel at 0730 which was perfect timing to get out nice and early. We would rate Nancy and Eric 10 stars if we could, they made for a wonderful morning in HCMC!

We had a fabulous half-day Tour by Jeep of Ho Chi Minh City.
Our Guide, Miley was an absolute gem: her knowledge of the city and its history is unbelievable as is her command of the english language. and to be driven so competently around this very busy city by Thramg was a bonus. Stops at the important sites were perfectly timed. This really is a must do trip: Thankyou so much to Miley: she's an amazing person.

We had a fun time seeing the sites of Saigon at night. The open air jeep is great and allows you to better see the main sites and lights of the city. The stop at the rooftop bar was magical with awesome views of the city. Miley was an excellent tour guide and provided us with the history and insights of the city and people of Saigon!

We have a few days in Ho Chi Minh city before moving on to see the rest of Vietnam and stumbled across this jeep tour on trip advisor. It had no reviews at the time since it was new, but the description sounded like a lot of fun so we gave it a go. Great decision!
The service was excellent from start to finish. Online booking was easy, and the company confirmed quickly that they would pick us up that evening.
The tour is a lot of fun. We got to see a lot of the city with our friendly, funny guide. Taking in some of the main sights that we had missed in the day, it really worked well for us. Driving through HCM traffic in the jeep was an immersive and hectic experience, but never overwhelming because our driver clearly knew the city well. It's fascinating, and often funny to see such chaotic traffic work well, especially from the middle of it!
A big enjoyment factor was that we got to eat at places we simply would not have known about our found otherwise. The banh xeo and seafood were superb and authentic. Top marks all round.

Just the best evening tour of Saigon. Eric and Ho were excellent and we had a fun filled evening. They are attentive and great tour guides.
The jeeps are super cool and it’s lovely to have an evening tour in an open top car seeing the sites. We stopped for a treat food which was amazing and the view from the sky bar was fab. Food was at 2 street restaurants so make sure you’re hungry as there is plenty to eat and you are guided through what’s what. Delicious.
Our friend had briefly mentioned in early communication that it was her birthday the next day and to our surprise they had a cake for her at the sky bar.
Nothing is too much trouble. Cruising the streets drinking beer and water was amazing experience.
If you’re in Saigon and want a truly amazing tour of the city with local food would definitely recommenced.

This was really the highlight of our visit to Saigon. We met Cuong our driver at the hotel and had a fantastic night together touring the city. We did not opt to have a guide. Without a roof on the Jeep makes the trip so much more visual. It just wouldn't be the same in a car. Traffic/Scooters are just so crazy in Saigon that this is the perfect way to go sightseeing.
In fact we liked Cuong so much we booked him the next day for a Temple/City tour.
It was great but a little hot during the day in the sun.

Throughout this trip we felt that the guide Rohan was bored and uninterested spending most of the time on his phone. When in the jeep driving around he didn't speak and the driver didn't speak any English so we felt a bit lost and we had to ask where we were at various sites. Out of the jeep we stopped at some great sites and museums but again the guide was very uninterested. We felt so uncomfortable.
The brief says beer and water provided, the guide drank most of this!! We got 1 beer each - shocking!
The worst was when they dropped us back at our hotel earlier than the should have and Rohan followed us in the hotel, and the appeared 5 minutes later and asked if I had a tip for the driver, even worse the driver had left so clearly the guide trying to get a tip from us!!!
We went on the scooter food tour the night before and tip very generously as it was brilliant . We couldn't wait to get out the jeep and no way we were tipping them!
It's a real shame as the others reviews were so good, make sure you check who the guide is if you're booking this.

I used the Jeep tours by night. We used them last second because our flight was delayed coming into Saigon. You can call the hotel, chez mimosa. Same owners that run hotel runs tour. Great food tour btw especially if you like seafood.
