I was a little worried at first with 3 children ranging from 9-14 but this experience was beyond safe and was the most fun we had in Saigon! Hoang (Giant) and his team were friendly and knowledgeable and showed us parts of the city we didn’t know existed. Seeing the real Saigon by night we ate wonderful local foods in local hotspots as well as viewing iconic landmarks at night. We thank you for a truly wonderful time the children have not stopped talking about it. We learnt much about the cities history and its people. Scooter ride expertly done through areas in outskirts of town, including stops at farms, fishing village , mat weaving , rice noodle making and a basket boat trip. All great fun. One to one guest to guide interaction made this four hours informative and personal. Our guides were Tho, Wendy and Ha, and each were excellent scooter drivers and wonderful companions for the afternoon.

My wife and I joined this private tour with one other tourist. We had a wonderful time exploring the city with our three riders: two guides - Gia Khanh and Ky Nam, and one leader (Ngoc Chau). They showed us many places, such as the fresh flower market, the night food market, old buildings, local lifestyle and some amazing city views. They also told us stories about the culture and history of the city and answered all our questions.
However, there were some things that could have been better. We did not get to see the Thích Quảng Đức Monument (which I really wanted to see) and the Thu Thiem Underground Road (which was okay to miss). Chinatown was closed, which was part of the itinerary. It would have been nice to have a list of the places that we would visit on that day in advance, so that we could adjust our expectations.
The food market visit was also very rushed. We got 1 drink each and 1 snack, which was a sweet rice paper shared among six people. There was no explanation or recommendation from the leader about the famous dishes that we could try. I think it would have been better to include at least one famous dish, such as banana crackers, or to suggest some dishes that we could buy ourselves.
Despite these drawbacks, Gia and Nam were very enthusiastic, friendly, helpful, and safe drivers. They made up for everything with their great attitude and service.
Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the real and authentic side of Ho Chi Minh City. It was a very enjoyable and memorable experience.

We opted for this tour as we could walk to the major tourist sites within HCMC and wanted to experience more of the authentic city, how people live their lives in comparison to ours and this tour gave us a great insight. Quill and K gave us a good run down of scooter passenger safety before we started and were very proficient, my wife had never ridden on a scooter before and was a bit apprehensive but after a couple of minutes she was really enjoying it. We certainly saw parts of HCMC we would have never made it to and did get a good understanding about some other bits of the history of the city but more importantly the people who live and work in the city. The trip lasted just over three hours and we covered a lot of ground and sampled some new food and drink options for the rest of our trip.

When we wanted a Tour for a 15-hour layover in Ho Chi Minh City, we contacted Saigon Adventure. Jerry suggested a Private Tours with Airport pickup and drop-off for a little more.
We chose the Private Mekong Delta tour. This did not disappoint. With Daisy as our guide and a dedicated driver, we were met at the airport and whisked out of the city to the south. Being on our own adventure, we were able to set our own pace, slowing down to spend more time where we wanted. Sampling snake wine, sampling the local produce and visiting markets.
At the end of the day, we were whisked back to the airport with plenty of time for our flight.
I would recommend Saigon Adventures as a local tour company that can meet your needs for a transit stop or a day tour.

I joined the Saigon city motorbike hidden gem tour! Jack was such an incredible tour guide. He took me around to all the non touristic areas of Saigon. Got a really good feel of different districts and saw how an average Vietnamese in the area really live! He is also very knowledgeable of the city, it’s history and the sites he takes you to. Highly recommended the tour and if you can ask for Jack.

I booked a half day private excursion for my group of friends to the Cu Chi tunnels, and Ngan from the Saigon Adventure was super helpful and attentive in helping me to customise my trip and arrangements.
We wanted to have lunch at a specific restaurant and they helped us to change out the lunch venue and also booked a super scrumptious lunch.
Our guide Bruno was cheerful, energetic and great at explaining to us the history of the war and the Vietnamese people. Our minivan was clean and comfortable.
Overall it was a smooth and wonderful experience for my friends and me!
Highly recommend the team at Saigon Adventures if you need any help with itineraries in Ho Chi Minh City. They are super responsive on WhatsApp/ email and made everything super easy.

It was really amazing. We had very nice guides/drivers (T and Jun) and the ,,leader“(Nhan) was also very good and told us a lot about the different spots we stopped. The vibe and atmosphere was very nice and the spots where very well thought through and interesting. We would recommend everyone to do this tour, as you get to know the City very well and you connect with people who really live here. 10/10 experience

Super way to see a slightly different side to Saigon. Did the morning sights and food tour with Tony ( Duy Anh ). Very informative, interesting history and a great trip through a very local market, enjoying some broken rice in a cafe with lots of history and a traditional Vietnamese coffee. All whilst negotiating the crazy traffic on the back of a scooter!

Our family of five scootered with Asher, John, Luan, Daniel and Alvin and had a blast being immersed in the Ho Chi Minh City traffic with our student guides. We’re an older crew ages 21-60 and felt very safe the entire time. Our students were very knowledgeable and the lead guide Asher gave the history at each stop. We especially liked the history of Buddhism at the pagoda and the solemn visit to the memorial of the monk Thich Quảng Đức Monument. Part of the tour includes a visit to a historic neighborhood in the oldest part of HCMC where we got a glimpse inside of traditional housing and stepped out of the heat into a local a coffee shop were we hung out and got know our guides better and our kids - also students - were able to exchange stories. Wish we would have done the tour earlier in our visit to HCMC. Definitely recommended.

How was the tour no 2 ?? Unseen saigon. I am a grandma that travels solo and very interested in photography. I am interested in taking this tour. Was this tour worth taking ? did you see places that you would not have seen on your own. Please reply. I will be in saigon on feb 17. Thanks a bunch

Hi , you should definitely take the unseen Saigon tour as you explore places that you wouldn't have seen on your own.. hidden alleys, busy vendors and the flower market. Wet market is extremely busy early in the morning but worth visiting. The early morning vibes of these market will truly make you feel local and you will enjoy every minute of the tour. Go for it!

Hi there, yes we took our 11 and 13 year old, felt very safe, great guides. We did afternoon tour it took about 4 hours, "the food was delicious" said our kids. We were full by the end and didn't need dinner, went to places we would probably not try ourselves.
You go through district 1,2 and across river to district 4. Great to see HCMC on the back of scooters and gave kids a taste if Vietnam. Cost we thought was reasonable. Highly recommend the tour.

This is a very good company. We are travel agency in HCMC. We sent them some of My tourists for scooter tour and Cu Chi Tunnel, MEKONG Delta tour. The feedbacks were always excellent. Highly recommend this company for anyone visit HCMC.

Agree, we were treated like royalty. I was worried about the street food being our first day on holidays, but I was absolutely fine. Plus I am of the mature aged body and they made sure I was ok at all times.
I did not know that had tours in Danang and Hoi An, otherwise I would of used them again!
