We just came back from Vietnam and Myanmar after a two weeks holiday that organised by Holly. Everything was perfect. Got to spend 4 days in Ho Chi Minh City and the rest in Myanmar. Got referred to this company from a mate at work and we were very happy when we contacted Holly. She did everything for us and both tours were perfect. Will definitely use this company again. Thanks. Last year, I corresponded with Holly from Beyond Myanmar while planning for my trip. She was very helpful, patient, and prompt in all of her responses. In the end, she helped me organize an itinerary that fit my needs and budget perfectly. I especially appreciated the flexibility when working with Holly, as we exchanged many emails to fine-tune my 10 day trip. I managed to see Yangon, Bagan, and Mandalay satisfactorily in a relatively short amount of time. However, I was a bit surprised during my Mandalay visit, because the tour-guide met me and proceeded to describe a day-tour that involved a lot of shopping and markets. I was surprised, because I recalled during my planning, I had emphasized my interest in cultural sights, visiting local schools/orphanages, and important temples. Luckily, after I expressed this to my guide, he assured me he could rearrange the day to suit what I wanted. From this experience, I learned it's important for the tour operator to communicate clearly with the guide so everyone is on the same page as to what the traveler requested. In any case, as a traveler, it's a good idea to always check with the guide to know what the day's activity entails so you are not disappointed in the end or waste your time. Overall, I would use Beyond Myanmar again, and I plan to have them plan my upcoming Bhutan trip. I would also recommend them to my friends and family. Thanks Beyond Myanmar, with a special thank you to Holly, for your passion in sharing the beauty of this region.

It was amazing! We learned and experienced so much. It was a highlight of our trip so far. See the true culture of Vietnam in the raw sense was eye opening and we were all in awe. The Mekong Delta was a true beauty, the food and music were exceptional and everyone was kind, patient and understanding. The boat rides were exhilarating and learning how to make the coconut and rice candies were awesome. The bike rides weren't the great. None of us had ridden a bike in ages and the entire time we were riding down these narrow roads so we were so concerned about not falling off our bikes we didn't really get to experience what was around us and definitely didn't know what we were seeing in regards to the gardens and groves until after the tour was over and we reread what the tour was supposed to entail. The Only suggestion would be to pick a rice field that's more larger and open perhaps while workers are present in the fields. The ones they stopped at for our tour were very small and the entire field fit within the frame of our camera. The ones out on the open highway would've been more of a better "picturesque" experience. They were HUGE, there were workers in the fields and you could see some were in the different stages of cropping.
