Expensive unreliable transfer service

I would not recommend this service for the following reasons :
Unreliable were not at the airport to transfer us to our hotel in Saigon
Had to ring to chase up our transfer which was difficult
Eventually someone turned up after 30 minutes
Car was old as well as dirty
Seat belts do not work
Mis representation that by using them you are choosing a greener pathway, that is absolute rubbish
Seems they used various car companies to fulfill their obligations to transfer

I was recommended this company for a transfer in Hanoi by a friend who had used them. The booking process was fine, however my transfer never showed up. I proceeded to call the companies phone number but no answer. I then tried their emergency phone number - which wasn't even connected!!
After already paying for the service you would expect it to turn up. I did get a refund, but still no explanation as to why no one showed.
Definitely would not recommend this company.
Get in contact with your hotel to arrange a driver for you if visiting Hanoi, they will be more than happy to collect you and for half the price of what the transfer companies offer!

I was let down by Green Path Transfers on arrival in Hanoi, Vietnam February 2015. Waited for an hour but nobody showed up. A kind man rang the local number of Green Path but nobody answered. To cut a long story short there was no explanation to why I wasn't met but I contacted Green Path when I arrived back in Australia and they refunded my money and offered me a $100 voucher to use on my next trip. I have now contacted them to use my voucher for Paris, France and was asked to give my flight details etc. I did that but have not had any return emails. After several emails and no return emails I have decided I can't risk another let down from the company. I have decided to forget about Green Path transfers and go with public transport from CDG airport to Gare Du Nord

I booked 4 transfers with Green path transfers in Vietnam, twice from Ho Chi Minh City, once from Hanio City and Hue City airports. I found the meet and greet service very unreliable for such a worldwide transfer business.

After 20 hours of travel, we finally arrived at HCM for the first time, cleared customs and made our way out the front to look for our driver who should have been there holding a sign with our names on it, however, there was no driver/sign which made us extremely disappointed, as we were first time travellers to this airport, which was very over whelming and crowded. After attempting to locate the Green Path desk in a very busy airport mind you, we were unsuccessful in finding it. We ask some other desks (limited/bad English staffing) if they could point us in the right direction of the Green Path desk and finally we were pointed to the right desk. The girl behind the Green Path desk with very poor English couldn’t understand our concerns, however, someone with better English stepped in and was able to understand our problems and organised us to get into our private transfer to our hotel 40 minutes later.

The Hanoi private transfer was not even at the airport to meet us. We had to go to the visitor information desk and speak to a really lovely lady with outstanding English who kindly called the Green Path office in Hanoi to arrange our car. We were directed to sit down and wait. After a very apologetic staff member apologised to us about the failure of service by Green Path at the airport, she walk us to the car and we then departed for our Hanoi City Hotel 25 minutes later.

The Hue city meet and greet was at the airport as they should have been and we received a good transfer service to our hotel. The only gripe was, the driver was very pushy trying to sell us activities to do. Might be a bonus for some travellers, but not for the ones who really do not want this on a relaxing private transfer to your hotel.

The last transfer again at HMC was there to meet and greet us, only because I had emailed complained about the service and clearly indicated to them that I wanted to be met at the airport by the driver with a sign with NO problems. This happen and the service was better.

I will credit them with the use of the transport company they use in each city. All transport was very modern, clean, comfortable, air-conditioned and the drivers are extremely safe drivers. Some cars have Wi-Fi and they do offer water to you. Most drivers have limited English, with one driver having very good English (HUE).

Would I recommend this company as a whole….NO. Why? Because your hotel can organise the same style as transfer for you a lot CHEAPER and in some cases they include transfers in the hotel price. Make sure you ask them! Green Path is very expensive and we all no now, very unreliable.

Now, I will make a point to all Tripadvisor readers who are reading this review thinking that I am just having a gripe about the company because of my bad experience……..WRONG…… I am a manger of a large tour and travel company in Australia, who manages our Tripadvisor site and deals with people like this all the time, my review is very open and honest informing you all that you have better transfer choices in Vietnam away from this company. Do your research and ask your hotel.
