I'm not gonna lie, the quality of the massage depends of the person in charge of it! Some are really great and some are "ok". However, for this price it is impossible to complain!

I've tried this place many times. As other reviews have mentioned, it is a popular place for expat women. It is fairly cheap and offers a variety of services. But they have raised prices, customer service is non-existent and they expect a tip regardless of the quality of service or time spent. I have had 2 awful haircuts where the stylist didn't understand what I asked for but didn't ask for clarification from other members of staff. I had a half leg wax. She rushed the job and as a result, numerous spots on my legs were missed out. A few weeks ago, I took visitors from Canada there for pedicures. They refused to exfoliate my friend's daughter who is 13 years old claiming that she didn't need it. This was not true since they had just spent the last few weeks hiking throughout Nepal and her skin was peeling. Her pedi took about 5 minutes. Once our mediocre pedis were finished we paid and were given glares for not tipping. I feel that I have given Quynh's enough chances to show that I didn't have a fluke experience. But I have concluded that they are just out to make money and get as many people through as possible at inflated prices. There are other better places with better prices, better customer service and higher quality of services. It isn't the gem that some people claim it is.

I read about this in trip advisor and some people must different expectations for a HCMC salon. This was a great HCMC salon and one I will visit again. The only negative was when I was giving a tip (100,000) from the total 260,000... The lady said "not enough". That was a bit rude, as that was a 38% tip. I went ahead and gave another 50,000... But still at a total of 410,000 ($18 USD) for a facial, great massage, and manicure. Not complaining.

I am a regular at Quynh's where I often have my nails done and a full body massage. Occasionally I have a facial. The quality of service is mixed. I have had some terrible massages where I have wondered what the point was. However, the majority of massages are genuinely excellent. I tip honestly and generously in proportion to the quality and am now guaranteed one of the best masseuses. This still costs less than £5. For a massage. As someone who can suffer from back pain, they do a good enough job to sort it out usually. Facials and body scrubs are also good. Nails are usually good but some girls lack care. The price is very reasonable but tipping is expected. I like the way the lady runs it too. She protects her girls and will frown if you tip badly. Overall, such good value for money, without the constant feeling you are paying twice what a local would pay.

This is my favourite place in Ho Chi Minh City. It is a genuine salon. Equal mix of women, men and children. The massages are fabulous. It is clean, professional, well run and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It is so popular it can get very busy but they will always try and accommodate you. Prices are very reasonable. Could not recommend it more.

expensive, bad service, only for simple haircut, no respect to clients, I had been in the salon for just 10 mins and they already told me in bad attitude that i had to decide quickly and know what haircut to make at the beginning because there are many clients waiting, WTH

Been here for a haircut and also massage and the service was good and the price really cheap. But WAXING, no way, ever. I regularly go to the salon but this time was the most awful experience i've had. I literally got out in the middle of the process, CRYING, literally! The girl was maybe new because she pulled 5 times, the same spot. So after she realised she's not capable another one came. Another 3 times. It was the time i already had enough. Now i realise that this can really harm my health so please don't go for cheap prices when it comes to you. A bad haircut can be fixed but harming your skin with wax is really dangerous (my mother ended up in hospital just because the girl was a beginer - not in Vietnam)

Only 90k for 60 mins body massage. You have to tip at least 100k though. But it’s still very cheap. The ladies called “Ngan” and “Hanh” are the best !!

I've been there time to time over a decade. Back then, she just began and was the only massage/hair/nails salon in Thao Dien ward and she did great.
Since 5 years, many other salons have settled in the area but she doesn't seem to care at all, quite the opposite, she increased her prices, includes tips if customers don't give which is very wrong because as customers we get to dedide to give or not, we get to appreciate the service or not she can't compel us to ...and given the declining service ...
Even the mani-pedi is botched, unlike 10 years ago, they don't take time to clean the tools with alcohol between customers!
I do understand why foreigners like the service, I'm from France, there massage is way more expensive and you won't have girls taking care of your hair, your face, your feet and your manicure at the same time, that's true but it doesn't mean she shouldn't pay more attention.
Don't get me wrong, sometimes i do appeciate a quick nail polishing or a shampoo however, living in Vietnam i have higher expectations about salons. Regardless the place is often full so let's say there's something for everyone
