I was visiting my son and had a few days to explore Ho Chi Minh while he worked. This guide company was recommended and booked me a tour at the very last minute and during peak Tet holiday season. From start to finish my guide Phan My Nhan was excellent - extremely informative, very happy to suggest where to visit or go with my requests and fun to be with. She made the trip for me. She found great vegetarian restaurants, patiently took me around fabric shops and stalls and fruit and veg markets, was a very confident and reassuring scooter driver. I spent 2 full days with Nhan and we visited many of the main tourist sites plus lots of interesting less visited places like the coffee shop with hidden tunnels underneath, oldest apartment block, old CIA building. Can't recommend this company and especially Nanh highly enough.

I decided to book with Xin Chào Private your based up their reviews here, and their professionalisms during the inquiry process. From the start Hazel (sales rep) was a pleasure to work with and helped me to construct a private tour for me and my friends factoring in my specific desires. The prices were reasonable for a private tour. She was very patient with me and provided alternative routes to the Mekong Delta that was not overtoursity, which was very important to me. I had requested Andy and one other name that I saw on the reviews and luckily Andy (Hoa) was available for our group. He spoke perfect English, was very enthusiastic, friendly, kind, and informative. My favorite part of the trip was meeting the locals and observing some of their handiwork; I think this shift to localized tourism is great for the community, particularly for those who are less affluent. I would not hesitate to recommend Xin Chao to any friends traveling to Vietnam in the future, and will tell them to request for Andy as he is amazing! Thanks Andy for make the Mekong Delta the highlight of our trip.

During my recent visit to Saigon, I booked a tour with Xin Chao and was lucky enough to get Sky/Thien Cao Thanh as my guide. Sky arrived on time, friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He made sure that my boyfriend and I were comfortable the whole day while providing great insight into the rich history of the city. I appreciated his time and his willingness to even share his own personal story. Thanks so much for the tour! Will definitely book again the next time we come back. :)

My husband and I used this company for a 2 week private tour of Vietnam from Ho Chi Minh City all the way to Hanoi and beyond. It was an unforgettable experience that was surprisingly affordable. We learned about Loc and his tour company through friends who had booked a similar tour a couple of years prior.
Every detail was taken care of. The only thing we had to do was book our flight to Vietnam and Loc took care of all the rest. His company booked all of our hotels, tours, intra-country flights and drivers. He was even waiting for us at the airport when we arrived. We experienced things we never would have found on our own. We went to restaurants that didn't have a single westerner in them; we had lunch at a restaurant in someone's backyard in the Mekong delta; we went to a small fish market in central Vietnam where we watched fish being bought right from the boat.
We booked the mid-tier package so we were shocked at how nice all of the hotels were. They all had large, modern and comfortable rooms with excellent AC. We had a motorbike tour to 4 different restaurants in Ho Chi Minh, a country-side motorbike tour in Hoi An, saw countless temples and pagodas, hiked through the jungle, and even did an overnight cruise in Halong Bay. We had many encounters with locals thanks to Loc. He knew that our goal was to experience the culture so that's how he targeted our tour. He will customize each tour according to your preferences.
I really do want to emphasize that this tour was surprisingly reasonably priced. We encountered a group taking a bus tour that followed the same basic path as our tour. Their tour was two days shorter and most of the excursions were "extra". The base cost of that tour was the same price as our longer, all inclusive private tour.
Book any tour that Xin Chao Private Vietnam Tours offers. Each tour is meticulously planned and executed. You will not find a better tour operator.

We booked this tour following reviews on Trip Advisor and were so pleased we did.
We are not used to travelling independently but Hazel reassured us from the start that we would be fine and we would get back to the ship on time which we did - thank you.
Andy was our guide and Mr Keit our driver.
Andy is so lovely and warm and is full of information about his country it’s customs and people, we visiting the oldest Chinese Temple and took a rickshaw ride with two lovely but it was walking around the markets and meeting the locals seeing, hearing, experiencing how people live today what they need to do to make a living in a nutshell what living in Saigon is like. It was a bit like having a sensory overload, but something that will stay with us in our memory for ever. Everyone we met was kind and welcoming. Andy is an excellent guide and explains everything as it is we would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to really get to know Saigon. Thank you Hazel Andy and Mr Keit for looking after us so well

We were on a cruise stopping in Phu My for one day, and arranged a 1-day tour of Saigon for a party of 6. The tour by far exceeded our expectations ! We were greeted at the port my Mr. Long and the driver of a very comfortable minibus. Even though we had arranged the day's schedule in advance via email correspondence, our party wanted to make some changes which our tour guide immediately integrated, and even enhanced. Considering the limited time available, we felt we saw much more of Saigon than expected. We can only highly recommend

So pleased by the foodie tour. What a great opportunity to learn how the HMC residents live, eat and play. Sky and his band of terrific guides drove us around the city on motor bikes. Through the alleys, the main roads and shops we went learning what it might be like to travel as most of the residents do, via scooter, and eat as they would at local eateries - a real learning experience in so many ways. And what a wonderful group of friendly, knowledgeable, English speaking and fun loving hosts. Highly recommend, though be prepared for some new food you havent tried before.

What a great experience with Loc. We set up a private custom designed city tour of Saigon. Loc took us to the historic sights of the city, tasted local PHO, toured China town (a must see), walked back streets and alleys, visited a secret weapon storage house, and ended with a cold draft beer. We toured by van and walking. Loc speaks great English and is very knowledgeable...we had a great conversation about Vietnam history. We highly recommend touring with Loc and Xin Chao Private Tours.

Our 5th tour with Xinchao, all ages 9 to 82 enjoyed ourselves thoroughly with guide Sinh (we did the Hoi An, Hue and Da nang city and foodie tour). Loc was very responsive to emails, made suggestions catering to elderly parents and young kids. The Hoi An motorbike country side tour was the best with careful drivers and lovely scenery!
Sinh was very flexible with our group, he met us at the airport on his day off and made sure we got to Hoi An safely with our driver, visited tailors and nice eateries and lots of stops at local coffee cafes throughout our 5 day tour. Sinh played chess at our son’s request too.
Best of all was seeing Sinh treating all he met with respect and kindness including the fair share of animals we encountered along the way.

You should ask them. Our involvement with them was mostly in the city except for the cu chi tunnels. They are very intent on meeting your needs so I suspect they will at least find someone for you if they don’t do it.
